For a best friend's Mom who has made me countless Sunday dinners, I made a Cosmopolitan gift set. It includes the vodka, triple sec, cranberry and lime juice, a set of 4 glasses and a shaker. After putting it all together I started wondering if it's too much. What does everyone think?

I don't think it's too much. She's your best friends mom and has cooked for you. I think she deserves it.

I don't think so. I think it will just show her that you care enough to put a gift set together yourself. I'm sure if she likes cosmopolitans that she will love your gift. If it is in her retirement and therefor a special occassion I think this is a lovely gift. Good on you for being a darling and thinking of her

ITS NOT, IF YOU ARE PLANNING ON DRINKING FROM ONE OF THOSE FOUR GLASSES. JK- IT SOUNDS LIKE A LOVELY GIFT- I THINK IT IS NOT IN ANY WAY "TOO MUCH" IT PROBABLY DOESNT BEGIN TO PUT A DENT IN ALL THE FOOD SHE HAS PREPARED THAT YOU HAVE EATEN.

Onley if the gift is food.Try some choclate truffles or a fudge covered apple but anything else would be bad.
