Family can be such a pain in the.... But yes it is being completely evil, and something should be done about it. If these family members are younger siblings, I believe you have an obligation to try to set them straight. If they want something from you they must ask in a civilized way or they don't get it. And any favor you do must be returned or no more favors.

I stayed away from the hate word because, after all you are family and they only want your stuff because they love you enough to appreciate what you have and want the same. But that feeling should not be displayed in an evil manner like you describe.

Get a back bone and stop letting yourself be bullied by such evil people. Or better yet, get them out of your life.

That is just plain wrong. I hope you are able to stay away from those members of your family. Often our families are not who we wish they could be.

All I have to say.... Family is often the enemy.

They are probably jealous for some reason.

"Evil" and "hateful" are words I reserve for especially horrible acts that are not within the realm of usual behavior.

It's extremely rude, but it's common, so no, I don't think it's "evil" or "hateful."

Time comes, you got to draw your own line. You haven't set the limits yet. Once you do, stand by them. They'll learn.

You're better than they are.

It sucks when you realize that, but it gets much better when you accept it.
