Hello,
(ANS) In my opinion Lust is NOT wrong, not at all. Lust is an instinctive sexual response, it is a reaction that emanates from our lower more primitive brains.
**Lust is primal response if you like.
**Lust isn't wrong but its how you handle your own lust that matters.
**Sex in the head isn't wrong either, again its how you handle it, its what you do with your sexual thoughts, or sexual fantasies. After all we all have sexual thoughts & feelings its just another aspect of being a human being.
**The problem comes when a person wants to "act out" their sexual thoughts, feelings or lust. In an inappropriate way, or with disregard to other people. This would be an act of sheer will power or force over another person and would more than likely be against the other persons wishes (i.e. not mutual consent). Or domination.
For example:- Yes! this is a gross example true but it makes my point. If you have thoughts or fantasies about raping someone thats one thing. The thoughts are yours and provided you keep them to yourself then no harm has been done. However, if your rape fantasy is so strong that you then go out and actually commit rape then thats clearly NOT OK!!.
This is what I meant when I talked about acting out. We all have sexual fantasies but not many of our fantasies are acted out on another person.
Role play within a loving relationship is the equivalent of adult sex play and is when two people trust each other in order to explore safely their mutual fantasies but lust would or could be allowed or even included.
Its all down to what you do with your lust that matters.
Ivan

Before you can understand why some people are conditioned to think lust might be wrong you have to understand that a society can only function by control
As controlling a society is intrinsically difficult it has always been done using psychology to "pursuade" members to do mostly what is wanted of them through brainwashing from birth of ideals and rules along with fear and threats mostly done through the use of religion and social demonisation of certain groups, types of people, activities and traits
Lust itself is a basic natural instinctive function, its part of the mechanism that drives us to procreate as well as being a sign of a healthy mind and a good ability to imagine
The problem there tho is that people who think for themselves, imagine and have a healthy mind arent what the people who control a society want as mindless automaton sheepish type people who only think what they are told to think without question are a politician or dictators wet dream
So many people in society would for various reasons see you lusting or fantasising as being a bad thing, a sin even or more recently as a sign you are some debauched sex pervert etc etc etc
The important question here tho is do you want to live your life how other people you might not even agree with would want you to live it? Or would you rather live it how YOU want to live it? because that decision starts not with actions but with how you control or allow the thoughts in your head
I've personally never been ashamed of having an extremely active imagination both sexually and none sexually and tend to prefer partners and friends who have a similar outlook and active mind so obviously I think its both nornal and healthy
But a frigid vicars wife would think the complete opposite in most cases, so with questions like this there is never a right or wrong answer, just thousands of uniquely personal viewpoints all right for the person who holds them and each being liked or disliked by a variety of other people
We are just conditioned to believe that with such things there IS a right and a wrong way to view such things, whether we are brow beaten into adopting that stance or have the ability and stregnth of character to follow our own path tho is one of the things that sort the tigers from the sheep

As long as you don't act on it its not wrong. That's called being tempted to lust. However it would probably be a good idea to distract yourself in some way. Acting on it would be wrong because its using the other as an object.

lust is wrong when you do something about it and that person isn't reciprocating your lust.
lust is only a good thing when you both have the same desire.
when someone acts on these lustful thoughts then it is wrong and sometimes dangerous. ie lust for children, lust to rape ,etc.......
keep those thoughts to yourself or find a way to stop them.

Nope....feelings are natural and you are merely expressing yours....
Sometimes the forbidden fruit tastes sweeter...and the unknown often fits into this category.....
At the end of the day....providing no-one gets hurt....then anything goes by two consenting people....so why not go one stage further and convert this lust into actions.....far more enjoyable if you ask me!
Good luck....and beware ladies!

Of course not! What you do about the lust might be wrong, but there is nothing wrong about any thoughts that you have. it's what you do that matters.

I reckon it just human nature to want what you can't have, hence LUST. I always tend ot lust after my bosses, simply because it would be totally imoral to do anything about it...

Of course not, as long as it stays in your head. You're in control of your lust, tell it who's boss!
