insulting you and firing you in a rude and defensive way? I stood up for myself but didnt' argue or get defensive. I know that someone of character wouldn't fire someone that way and so I feel relieved that I am no longer there. But I wonder, why would she fire me so rudely and insultingly?

I'll be a guest in a couple's home for 2 nights this week.
They don't need anything, and they wouldn't expect anything, but I'd still like to make the gesture.
I'm flying, so a plant's out of the question.
Any good ideas?

Hes confided in me that hes really curious to know what it would be like to try my pantyhose. He has always complimented me and paid extra attention to how my legs look when I wear pantyhose to the office for work or out for dinner etc. Part of me was unsure about letting him try at first. But I'm also thinking why not, if hes so curious, let him give it a try to experience how it feels. I'm really glad that hes confided in me with this, so Im leaning towards letting him do it as a reward in my own mind for being so open with me. Hes a wonderful husband and we have been married for about 9 years, and hes been really supportive of my feelings and career, etc. Just wondering what some of the other women out there think of letting him try or have similar expereinces.

Think of someone you do not care for. If you could make twice your current salary, but everyone you worked with would be similar to that person, would you take the job? (for a class project)

I've lived with a few men both in roomate and boyfriend situations. Why is it that they can't wipe the snibbles of hair off the sink after they're done shaving. It's not that I'm a clean freak, it's that toothbrushes and whatnot are on the vanity!

Okay, to answer this, don't give me all the sexual stuff. I know all that. What I want to know is, aside FROM THE SEXUAL standpoint, why do we as a society look at women's nipples the way we do? And I don't mean in the outward way, exposed. Take for instance, women when braless or brafree as I like to say it, because I am a women's rights activist, when women are brafree, the nipples showing, (raised position, protrusion), are looked at as a sexual entity or enticement, rather than as a woman who just hates to wear bras! Why is this, really? Can anyone truly tell me? (Hint:This might take some intellectual thought on your part to answer this!)

this same neighbor who, I believe, has the closed circuit tv trained on our home just showed up at my old residence walking right in saying she used to know someone who used to live there, and was I the old resident or the new one. Well I knew that was a lie as we were the original owners. I got to my new home and she shows up outside the house before we can even get the key to get inside. What is this?

She seems to know EVERYTHING we do. We are new neighbors and no criminal record. Only one little window on their upper floor that faces our home so they would have to watch out the window all day. I know that is not possible, so they have to have a closed circuit tv trained on our home. They know when we have UPS deliveries, ask who was in our driveway (while they knew we were here), why we were moving out certain furniture when we just got it, they know our furniture deliveries, when my child comes over, whether or not I leave in the day (she even stated that I stay in alot), etc. This is all just things they couldn't know unless they have a tv monitor right by their tv set watching us. I am really getting creeped out. This is violating my everyday privacy rights. What would you do?

I was cutting up some vegetables for my stir fry tonight, and the knife slipped and I accidently cut off my leg! My dog picked up my leg in it's mouth and ran off with it! I think he buried my leg! :(
What should I do? My dinner guests will be here in about 20 minutes! Maybe I should order out? :) Any thoughts?

Most cars made *stock - from the factory are not designed for high performance. The safety ratings for cars and trucks are made at low speeds.

Most folks like to trick-up their engine to sound and perform like a race car, except a lot of folks forget that the rest of the car can't handle the strain and abuse of street racing.

Is it any wonder that a lot crashes and loses of control result in death or permanent disability?
