his guy is in no way shy..he's actually loud and obnoxious...like as in throwing water bottles in the steam room and making loud noises

The guy wasnt zoning out...I was getting out of the pool and he was rinsing off looking in my direction...kinda creepy so i left
Also he goes to extreme to show off. when im around...i dont think he's gay ..but idk..but maybe jealous that im cool and the total opposite
Now that you mention Race..were both black..I think he may be mixed blk/white...looks like it..he did say something i thought was crazy a few days ago...about blks

Are you sure it's not you looking at him...you seems to notice him looking at you, maybe he thinks you're the one checking him out?? Nah, just kidding...maybe he is self concious about the way he looks and there is something about you that he wishes he could be. Or then again, maybe he's gay and thinks you're hott! Thats a good one...maybe you should approach him and ask him if he would like for you to help him...HA! Either he'll get weirded out by your question and leave you the hell alone or he'll be excited that you asked him. Then you'll know whether to run the other direction. Good luck man!

He is big and buff, loud and obnoxious but stares at you? This doesn't sound right. If he liked you, a big and obnoxious, loudmouth would approach you aggressively. He doesn't like you (could discriminate against you because of dumb things such as the of the color of your skin, didn't like the way you look, etc). I'd keep a safe distance from him. Avoid him (without letting him know, be discreet about this). Better yet don't go to the gym anymore (you could end up like those unsuspecting victims at AMW) and if necessary, run for the hills!

There are two possible answers:
1) He admires your body (for whatever reason, be it that he's gay or that he aspires to some day look like you)
or
2) He happens to zone out while staring in your general direction... I know I do sometimes when I'm at the gym doing a certain machine, I spend all that time staring blankly in the general direction of this one girl's butt... I feel no attraction, it just works out that she's always there when I blank out.

Thousands of possibilities. Underdetermination is which one you'll take to believe. He could be fancying you, or maybe you look similar to someone he knows and he is not ascertain whether you're that person (like the guy who stole his ex-girlfriend), or maybe he'd like to talk with you. Those are my postulations, and unfortunately, only postulations. The only surefire way to find out is to approach him, which may be a bad or good idea (hopefully the reason is not because he's mistaken you for someone on his bad side!). Use your discretion!

Aston, he's definitely gay...
Gays right now are not boxed anymore by the stereotypical loud, squeamish types. There are lots of gays who go to gyms and have harder bods that straight men.
If you're feeling uneasy, it doesn't hurt to approach him to ask what the f-ing hell is his problem. Or you can ask nicely.
Or you might want to explore new things with him, if you know what I mean. hehe...

He may think he knows you from somewhere. He might want fitness advice from you. He may even have a crush on you.
Whatever his reasons, it's rude to stare. You could point this out to him, or you could simply say "hello" to him and perhaps once he has had the chance to speak with you he won't need to stare anymore.
