Think of someone you do not care for. If you could make twice your current salary, but everyone you worked with would be similar to that person, would you take the job? (for a class project)

No way. You spend close to 1/3 of your adult life at work (if you work full time). It wouldn't be worth the money to be miserable for 1/3 of your life.

Similar people? Same job? Double the pay? Yes, I'd take the job. I'd pay my off my bills faster working for $28 an hour! I've stuck it out where I'm at for over a year with my crazy coworkers, why not go somewhere and get paid more!

I don't really like my job right now, but I love my co-workers and because of that, I'm content to stay where I am.

If I was offered twice the $$$ but hated everyone that I'd be working with, I would not take that job..... No Way, No How.

Happiness is far more important to me than money.

No.
One of my requirements for taking a position is the caliber of the character of the people who work there. After all, why spend so much time in a workplace if you don't agree with who you spend your time with?
