It will eventually go all Metric. How soon I don't know, my age group was pretty much the last that learnt imperial weights and measures as a main subject and we went into metric by the time I was leaving primary. So it could be about 40 years yet!
At a guess when those who are under 30 now become a majority in parliament.

Were Officially Metric in Ireland though sometimes we use Pounds and Ounces.We think in Imperial though use Metric. It will take a few Generations for all the Olds to die off and then everybody will only think in Metric.

It really doesn't matter if we mix the two and gradually change to metric. It might interest to know we started the change over a hundred years ago in UK
