First...... Don't say anything to the police nor your neighbors about what you think is a problem. If you do, you may arouse suspisions and these people will think you 'do' have something to hide and will watch you even closer.
Second..... It's very possible that the video surveillance cam only looks like it is pointed directly at your home! It could be aimed at their property line or the edge of the road.
Third..... Knowing what your neighbors are doing is something that is easily done and often not meant to be done. A kitchen, bathroom or livingroom window of theirs might just be where they spend a lot of time and can see what is happening around your house. If they were truly trying to watch you for reasons of their own they wouldn't make it so obvious nor would they mention what they know about your life to you.
Forth..... This goes on in our neighborhood all the time. I spend a lot of time at the kitchen sink and seem to know the comings and goings of several neighbors and their families, deliveries to their homes, when they work on their cars, when they get their mail, when they have a party, when they go shopping, etc., all without meaning to. We all laugh about it because everyone else does the same thing also! We all want to be friends but life keeps us all too busy and our ages range from the 20's to 60's so our interests aren't alike in any way.
Fifth..... If you have nothing to hide then don't worry about what they say do or say. People who have things to hide usually have trouble hiding these things and give themselves away anyways. Keep your private life to yourself. Then sit back and relax at home and make your neighbors believe that you're doing nothing they won't approve of.

Chill out a little .... sounds like you just have a very nosey neighbor. Your new on the block so that's mostly why she has such interest in you. I can assure you that MOST of your close by neighbors watch you But the thing is most won't come right out like this lady and mention it. I wouldn't worry ...it sounds like your the 'latest attraction" in that neighborhood. She will soon tire of watching you...you could try insulting her but she will still be watching you but at least you won't have to hear about it.
As far as the camera ...I highly doubt she has cameras trained on your home.
**A good thing about a neighbor like this is that if someone ever tries to rob your home or anything she will see them and possibly call the police.

Hey kids, It's SHOWTIME!!!!
It's high time you had some fun in your life. So here goes:
1) Dress up like aliens. I mean space aliens. Cavort at night in the front yard, using extremely complex equipment made of aluminum foil, PVC, tape, and Styrofoam.
2) Practice being French Mimes in front of her camera. That would definitely put any Gladys Cravitts over the edge.
3) Install a large, industrial-strength surveillance camera in a prominent, highly visible position. Aim it across at her camera.
That way you can help protect her from crime.
(We have a meth house nearby, so we love this sort of Activision. Anyhow, if you're going to be on TV, might as well make it entertaining for her!)
(Isn't there a song --- something like, "Let's give them something to talk about . . .")

I don't think there is anything the police can do. If it is something they can see clearly from their property (without high magnification) you really aren't protected by any law I can think of.
Now for the good news: Hey, they'll probably get the plate off the car and description of any burglars or teenage mailbox smashers! You've got a free security system.
If you are slightly twisted like me, you and your spouse could fake some heinous crime visible through your window and see if your suspicions are confirmed! Make sure you can easily explain yourself - but it could be fun! Remember though, no nudity or indecent things otherwise YOU could end up with the police problem.

Maybe you just have a very nosey neighbor. You said you're new to the area, so she's probably curious about you and if you're good people. I say get curtains and blinds for your home and keep them drawn on the side of the house that faces hers. Also, if you have a garage, keep your car inside it so she can't tell when you're home or not. Another good idea would be to build a nice wooden fence high enough to keep her nose in her own business.

This happened to my uncle. His neighbours' cam look right at his balcony and backyard.
He bought a funny Ultraman costume as pajama. He would look right in the camera, say hi, and dance right in front of the camera every morning at 7am. After 2 months and 4 costume change, he asked them if he can have a live feed or a tape for his performance. The neighbour moved the cameras to the front.

Assuming they mention the commings and goings about your house to you? If they say anything about the comings and goings, I would ask flat out how they know, and why they are watching you!
Possibly they do have a camera, or it could be aimed to view across their yard from their front door.
Some people are attrociously nosey and do watch out their front window at other people. Not much going on in their noodles.

Are you renting? Or did you just buy the house? If you're renting, I'd report them to the Land Lord. If the Land Lord is a slum Lord, I'd contact the proper authorities. If you just purchased the house, I'd contact the proper authorities. Yeah that is creepy! You should let me come over your house. I'd give your neighbors something to look at! I'd run around butt naked right on your lawn! Give em' an eye full of my twig and berries! :) Let them watch me diggin' up my nose and flicking the boogers in their direction!

She also could find out these things by just looking out the window. You better be sure before you stir some trouble with neighbors up. Accusing someone of such a crime and them not being guilty puts you in a pretty bad position and makes you seem quite paranoid. Maybe they are just nosey. shrug it off. stop being paranoid. When she tells you what color your undies are I would worry.

I'd aim a laser at the suspect window. if there's a cam there, it surely won't focus.
Honestly, I would approach her on it. It doesn't have to be accusatory, either. You can strike up a friendly conversation, and somewhere appropriate, say,"wow! How DO you get all this dirt on me???"... remember to SMILE when you say it, even laugh... she'll either come clean or get the message and back off.
