Hi,
My daughter is turning 3 at the end of April and wants a Tinkerbell party, the only problem is there will be boys and girls at the party. For party favors I was thinking of pirate party favors for the boys. Any other suggestions? The oldest child will be six, the youngest 15 months. (her little sister) Any suggestions for games, etc would be appreciated. Thanks!!

I remember the main part, but I can't remember everything that the little one does - it rhymes with the number each time. I think the song goes up to 10. Here is how it goes for number one:

The ants go marching one by one
Hurrah! Hurrah!
The ants go marching one by one
Hurrah! Hurrah!
The ants go marching one by one
The little one stops to suck his thumb
And they all go marching
Down
To the ground
To get out of the rain hurrah!

Hello all,

my toddler is addicted to Cbeebies 'In the night garden' made by Ragdoll - same people who make teletubbies.

Has anyone else noticed their child go nuts when this comes on?!

I'm looking for ideas for snacks and meals that my one year old daughter can feed herself- nutritious foods, especially some containing proteins & good fats. If they don't make a big mess, that would be even better, but hey, that's just kids sometimes, right? Thanks~

My uncle was diagnosed with colan cancer and for the past 2 years he has been cancer free. We just recently found out that it is back but it is now in his liver and too large to operate. I have told my daughter that he is sick, but that is all. My child knows about people that have passed away such as my grandma who she never met, and we put our dog to sleep about a year ago. At that time we told her everyone is in heaven, should I continue to tell her this or should I explain things more? Thank you!

My daughter is 4yrs old. I had never shown her a picture of her dad because I didn’t want to open a can of worms. The other night I was looking at some picture and I found a picture of him and she saw it and said “That’s my Daddy”, I didn’t know what to say, the other day she told me that her daddy is her friend and that he gave her a hug. Last nigh was the worst because she kept on asking me were was her daddy, she kept saying “I want my daddy I want my daddy”, I don’t know what to tell her she is too small to understand. What kills me is that he was the worst dad out there, and when she grabs his picture and hugs it kills me. I have no idea how to deal with it.

My little girl has always slept 10 - 12 hours per night since three months of age. Last night; however, she slept from 8:30p.m. until 11:15a.m. this morning! Thankfully she didn't wake up to a lake! Then, she got up ate, had a bath, played for about 15 min. and now she's taking a nap again. Should I be concerned? She has no signs of being sick. Is this just a growth spurt going on??

My daughter will be 4 in June. She wants to wear diaper while sleeping (during nap and also at bedtime), otherwise she is potty trained. Manytimes even if she doesnt drink any liquid 1 hour before going to sleep, and goes to potty before taking a nap, she wets the bed within 11/2 0r 2 hours. And at night she pees atleast 2-3 times . Does it means she doesnt have control on that? If yes what can I do for that? Your suggestions please...

Im in the process of keeping a journal about my DD(3) behavior so I can show her DR. If she is OCD, Im sure it is mild so far, Im just starting on this to see if we can control it, help it not get out of hand. At her age I don't want drugs/threapy.

She is into hand washing, but she is not aware of germs; her socks and shoes have to be put on a certain way, then tied in order; checks bottom of shoes when outside, gets upset if dirt is in tred; blankets on her bed have to be flat on her, no wrinkle, no corners turned over. I know this might seem minor to those who have a child with even a more complusive nature, or one who actually has fear surface, ours is more of a panic that it is not 'perfect' or correct. I guess I want to help her cope, help her not become more severe. Anyone dealing with Pedieatric OCD?

Okay, I am trying to create my daughter's invitations. She is turning 2. Last year, we had her party at Chili's. About 20 people came. I didn't pay for everyones dinner, just my household. Everyone paid for their own. Well, I pretty much invited only family so, it was kinda expected.

This year, the party will be at Golden Corral. This year I am inviting about 20 more people than I did last year.

How do I word the invitations that I am not paying for everyones dinners? The adult prices are 9.19 (buffet) and 1.59 (drinks). Should I include the price?

How do I do this?

She sleeps in her crib from 9pm to 11pm. Then she wails and calls for me or dad and finally we have to put her to bed with us. She will go to sleep right away. After 3am, she will just start to twist and turn ( in her sleep), hitting and punching me and my husband , waking us up. Then I will put her back in her crib hoping she will sleep there untill 6am. But in 1/2 hr she will be back in our bed ! And then at sharp 6am, she will be up and ready to play! We have tried feeding her around 3am thinking that she is hungry but that does not seem the case. My Q:
1) Why does she move so much at night?
2) How do I make her sleep in her crib throughout the night?
Pls help...

He has never been a great napper. I would be happy if I got an hour out of him. But lately his 11:00am nap is getting longer, just today he slept 2 hours. If he keeps sleeping this long should I drop his second nap? I think he would be miserable staying awake until 8:00pm but I feel like napping him around 4:30-5:00 is to late.

until she is three years old. I thought that to be odd but I went with it, now I am reading that as soon as they get teeth they need to start their check ups. When did you start your childrens check ups? what did your doctor say? My daughter is 16 months old and has almost ALL of her teeth.
