My son is almost 3 1/2 years old. i have a 2 1/2 year old and a 3 month old. My 3 year old will pee on the potty. I was putting pull ups on him at bed time, so thats when he would poop. So i took away the pull ups completely, and he has done great for not peeing the bed, but now he poops in his gaunch. I have set up a sticker reward chart, where he gets a day with mommy, swimming IF he fills the chart ( 4 poops) still wont work. I talk to him everyday, and remind him of the chart, showed him the stickers he will get if he poops, and still nothing. I never cach him pooping, because he goes to a quiet place, usualy when i am busy with the baby, or his brother... so i dont know when to catch him. I have made him sit on the pot for 30+ minutes at a time..... but this boy is stubborn. ANY ideas would be welcome. Please no critisism, im discouraged enough as it is.

We walked past a grave yard yesterday and he asked me about it... the questions have been non stop since then. He's been telling me that he doesn't want to die and am I going to die soon?
First thing he told me this morning was: 'Mummy grandad's gonna die soon because he's fat' I asked how he knew that, he said that his friend told him that fat people are unhealthy therefore they just die. Also he told me he doesn't want to go near mountains anymore because he might fall and just before I left him at school today he told me to only cross the road when the lights are green because cars are dangerous... I've never noticed him talking about one subject so much, is it normal?

i breastfeed my 3 yearold? only at night before bed is she too old, she does have a low immune system though. I am already producing milk for her younger brother and sister so thats not a problem. its not like she will still be breast fed when she starts school or anything. she just has the one feed which sends her to sleep.

I put my daughter in thetub today and noticed that she when we play tickle, she was covering her privates (as if I were going to tickle her there)..my mother in law was the last person that bathed her...I also oticed last time shewastickling my daughter..it was around her privates. This makes me uncomfortable; there are many other areas she can tickle her in...and my daughter doesn't know any better..she just thinks grammy's playing with her...What do I do?What's the best way to tell mother in law we don't touch daughter there unless we're bathing her..and NOONe touches her there otherwise except the doctor and I ?

My little girl is 3 1/2 she goes to sleep fine but she often wakes up once in the night and comes through to our bedroom, the other night she said she had a dream about skelons (we found out this meant skeletons!) and now is afraid in her own room which is making it worse. Its hard to find the energy to keep putting her back into her own bed as i am 20 weeks pregnant and working full time and feeling really ill. Any ideas i could try to keep her in her own bed would be great. I want to get this sorted before i have 2 children waking me in the night. Thanks

My son is a few weeks from being 20 weeks old ( 1 1/2) and he's shown extreme interest in potty training. He's actually gone a few times in the potty. He's game for sitting on it and sitting there for as long as needed. But i just want a few tips on how often I should put him on and how long i should have him sit? He knows how to respond to "did you poop or pee?" He's actually given me signs before he's gone.So If anyone has any serious tips I'd greatly appreciate it! p.s. he also gets "visual" help from dad.

Our family adopted a former racing greyhound approximatly 2 months ago.
He is a very good pet.
I do have a few questions about some behaviors.

He stays primarily in out kitchen where he seemed to like to stay from day 1.
We do have the best bed we could purchase for him in there.
He also has a bed in our living room which is just as big but he uses for maybe 20 minutes a week.

Our houshold also does have another dog which is a Toy Poodle who is within 11 months of the greyhounds age.
He seems to be want to keep some sort of territoy but is no challenge to our new pet and the Greyhound does not seem to me to be intimidated to me when he gets barked at.

We have read and understand the Greyhounds temperment. A lot of the things we expected seem correct.
Is this behavior normal???
Is there anything esle we can do to get him more acclimated to our household.?
Aslo when my wife gets home from working and gives him attention he seems to nip @ her one arm for some reason. Is

My daughter is 2 years and almost 10 months old. She loves her pacifier, and we have slowly but surely and very gradually been working on taking it away. I've managed to keep it away from her when outside of the house and whenever we have guests, so it's going alright so far. My question isn't how to stop her from using it -- I already have a method that I plan to follow through on very soon -- it's about how to keep her from replacing the habit with a worse one. I've noticed that a lot of the time when she doesn't have her pacifier, she'll suck on her hair or put her fingers in her mouth instead. I don't want her to replace the pacifier with something harder to take away (such as fingers or hair) or another bad habit (like eating). How do I stop a new bad habit from taking the place of the pacifier???

We have been trying for three years to get my son to poop on the potty. His younger brother does great. We have tried sticker charts, grab bags, toys, trips , etc. I have placed him on the potty and sat there with him and talk about what is bothering him. I have had him at the Dr. numerous times. She tells me we should back off. But that is hard to do when he keeps pooping in his underwear. We have also tried taking away things. Nothing works! Please help. Sometimes he won't go for days and makes himself physically sick.

My daughter is 21 months old and for the past month and a half she has been waking up/sometimes not going to sleep in her own bed. She was doing fine before that, but now she won't go back into her bed. All she wants to do is sleep out in the living room on the futon, so I have to sleep on the other couch. Every thime I try to put her back into her bed, she cries. She shares a room with her 8 month old sister and when she cries she might wake her up. How do I get her to sleep in her own bed as well as her not waking up the baby? I am tired of sleeping on the couch and just need a solution. I have looked everywhere? Please help me I am looking desperatly for an answer! Thank you!

Ok, here is the situation. I have a daycare in my home and one of the boys came to my house with a cough last monday, he's 1yo. He was at my house everyday last week, and every day is cough sounded worse and worse. By thursday he was coughing until he turned bright red, and he was also wheezing quite a bit. Now I am a mother also and I hate it when people tell me how to take care of my son, but we told his mother that she should take him to the doctor. His mother got all defensive and said that she didnt need other people telling her that her child is sick, and she said he was fine and she would take him if she thought he was sick. So whatever, Friday he was running a fever and cryed all day. You could tell by just looking at him that he was sick. So then she brought him Monday morning and he looked just as bad if not worse, then Friday. We asked her if he had been to the doctor and she said no.

My 4 year old son stutters every time he talk. I read that its 60% hereditery but my husband and I do not stutter or know anyone in our family who does. I also read that it could be stress or something tramatic. This too doesn't make sence because we are a very loving and close family. Should I be worried? Can I help him in anyway? Has this happenned to anyones son/daughter?
