There seem to be a lot of taco lovers here! haha!

It's a little bit difficult to answer this question because we don't know what the norm is for your family. The only thing I can suggest is to serve something that is from a culture other than yours. For example, if you primarily serve American food, try something Japanese or some other Asian cuisine. If you usually serve Asian, try something from a European country. The easiest way to find recipes is on the Net--try Googling food from a specific country. Or visit the library or a bookstore for a recipe book.

Maybe if you give us a little more details on what you usually serve, we could give more specific dishes? =)

HOw about making your own tacos? My boys loved it! Just prepare all the meat (maybe different types of meat), sour cream, guacamole, onions, lettuce, hot rice, cabbage, tomatos, hot sauce (S)???? (different c olors, even...........you see what I mean.............AND THEN, I used to do a little thing that my sons absolutely loved. I made my own menu for them. This, for some reason just was a huge hit. All the things I set out were on the menu, and they chose what they wanted. (I don't know why a menu was so cool to them, but, it WAS. Each one had his own.) Even the varieties of what we were having to drink were on the menu. I found that everyone seems to love a buffet where no one tells them WHAT to eat..............but, all the choices are nice ones! My sons used to ask if they could bring home a friend for menu night, and it didn't even matter what we were having! Just fun for us. (OH< add a restraunt looking table cloth, the forks, knives, spoons all set up with napkins and all!)

You should really try this My sis who is fifteen made it. I'm sure you can.
Here r the ingredients.
Tomatoes, Farfelle Pasta, and some chicken breast,
Cut up the tomato and chicken breast in the same size cubes. Let those cook for 5-7 min. And in the mean time get your pasta cooking. After the pasta is done put it in the same pan as the chicken and tomato for like 2 min, And serve!

How about crepes? You can make them sweet or savory. I found some good and easy recipes here: http://www.foodnetwork.com/food/recipes/recipe/0,,FOOD_9936_23272,00.html?rsrc=search

My mom used to fill them with chicken, mozzarella cheese, and salsa for a Tex-Mex twist.
