I have a 2 year old son,And honestly he drives me INSANE!!!And I am truly scared for my sanity,Sometimes I wonder if he stole it while I was sleeping,Before I had my son I thought all my friends were lying when they told me about "the terrible two's",I thought it was just a cover up for them not being able to handle their kids......I 100% believe in it now though......

Let's see--I have two toddlers (both boys). The 20 month old is starting his "Terrible Twos" and screams and throws tantrums constantly throughout the day, and usually for no good reason. He's also a little delayed in his speech (thanks to a lovely case of viral menengitis that he contracted from daycare when he was 3 months old), so that doesn't help him much, either. He can't say what he wants, so it makes him scream even louder. He does, however, understand everything we say to him, so that's good. :) He LOVES his bath. He's learning to use a fork and spoon, and has to stick his fingers in every bite of whatever it is he eats to "mash it" before he puts it in his mouth.
His brother just turned 3 a few weeks ago and is quite the charmer. he's recently taken to repeating what I say to him back TO me when he gets upset with me. I tell him to do something and I count to three. He knows once I get to three, he better have done what I asked him or else he gets a swat on the butt. He wanted juice for breakfast this morning and I told him no--that he was going to have milk. He looks at me, puts his hands on his hips and says, "No mommy, I want juice! Ooooone, twooooo, threeeeeee." with the most terrible scowl on his face. He's also going through some type of phase I think, because for the last week or so, he's been a little maniac. All he wants to do is run around and scream/squeal.

My daughter is 2 years old, her name is Ryleigh Mae, and as Ive JUST typed that.. she has peed on my floor.
*sigh*
We are potty training her, and it isnt going very well. Its friggin frustrating to tell you the truth.
Other than THAT, she is amazing. I cannot believe that I have a child sometimes. I have so much love for her, and everything she does opens my eyes to how wonderful the world is to her. It's a shame we cant all see the world as a child does.
It totally floors me everytime I see her learn something new. I love it!! She can count to 13, and knows a BUNCH of words, and colors. Her communication skills are wonderful.
She has started to get bossy too!! The other day she tells my husband (her father) "SIT DOWN!!" ...and on her way by me in the hallway she tells me "MOVE!!"..
Sassy little turd she is... she's so much like me. Im sure in about 13 years I'll be hating that fact, but I like it now :)
The one thing that I love about her is that she loves me no matter what. If Im sick, If Im upset, If Im crying, If I havent showered, she still thinks Im perfect.
She is the true meaning of unconditional love.
Well, until we hit the teenage years!! LOL

i have a two year old daughter named hailey madison. she is an absolute sweetheart. i am attempting to potty train her, but it's not going so well. she likes to tell me that she has to go potty after she's already gone. but she's learning. she's talking a lot, but it's hard to understand most of it. of course i know what she's saying, but other people have no idea. i have twin girls on the way that are due in a few weeks and i'm worried about how she's going to react. i'm not so worried about the twins because i know what to do with an infant, although two will be much harder. but having a two year old that really doesn't understand what's going on is making me nervous. i just hope she doesn't go back into "baby-mode" and want a bottle and all that good stuff. i tell her that mommy has babies in her tummy but i think that she thinks i'm just fat. lol. currently i cannot get her to sleep in her own bed, so she sleeps with me and daddy. i know this is a bad habit, especially with two new babies on the way, but i just don't have the energy to fight with her to stay in her own room. even if she does fall asleep in there she wakes up a few hours later and crawls into bed with me. she gets along great with other kids, though i think she lets them get over on her a lot especially when it comes to toys. but at least she isn't fighting with them. i love being her mother and it is so awesome to see all the new things she learns and does everyday. i'm really going to miss it just being her, but i'm sure that will change as soon as her sisters get here.

When my oldest was a toddler- he talked all the time. He potty trained at 2.5 and only ate food if we told him it was chicken.
My youngest is 12mo-- just hit toddlerhood, but he's been walking since 9mo. He spends his days digging out every pot and pan we own and climbing his toys and our furniture. He doesn't say anything other then dada.

I have a 3 year old foster son we're adopting. His name is Baylor, and he's been very abused, but he's super sweet. He adores my husband and he will wait by the door every day for him to come home, then he just follows him around. He is big on "helping" around the house and always wants to help me clean or cook or do whatever.
