YOU are the parent/adult.........your character HAS to be stronger.

Why are YOU allowing him to act this way............you are the boss - no longer him. he's not sturdy willed and obdurate - he's purely 'finding out the waters' to make certain what you will enable him to flee with. What he relatively needs is a distraction. Have him help you with your chores...provide him some undemanding chores to do; pull the covers up on his mattress and save his toys picked up. Have him help you prepare nutrients....little ones love those products. The busier you maintain him - the less soften downs he will have. provide up ALL day time naps...then he will sleep better at night. purchase a valid gadget that performs 'nature sounds'. the character sounds are calm and soothing which will help him circulate to sleep and stay asleep. As for what he eats; purely provide him meats and water to drink. NO snacks in between nutrients. as quickly as he realizes he won't get the rest to eat.....he gets hungry and eat. as quickly as you get him ingesting meat...wait some month and then SLOWLY upload a spoon of greens. A month later... a spoon of starches.

I don't know really I have an 18 month old andd I know if she is doing something I don't like its just because she doesn't know any better so I would not punish her for it, I would tell her to stop it and take her away from it, then sit down and tell her why(even though she probably doesnt understand)

Time Out! My 17 month old gets them all the time. She won't sit in time out, so I sit with her and put my arm across so she can't move. I also do not pay attention to her. I look away until her minute is up. Then I remind her that we have to be nice and she has to "apologize".

Just say no sternly, and take them away from whatever they are doing wrong.
