She is really starting to creep me out. Her and her mom live in our house, and she talks with a british accent. Listen, her mom doesn't have one, we don't, nor does anybody around us. We don't really get her to watch animal planet or nothing.. so what is the problem? ( the only reason I even care is because I take care of her all the time. I am left home alone with her alot )

At what age did you switch your toddler from a crib to a toddler bed and how did you go about doing it? My son is 22 months and to me, he doesnt seem ready to be out of the crib. Everyone keeps telling us that when our baby comes in July, we should have our son in a toddler bed but Im not sure what signs to look for to show he is ready. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Whenever i am in the library the librarians give me dirty looks. Just because they stack books on shelves all day why do they think they are so clever ? Anyone can stack books on shelves. It is the same as stacking shelves in a supermarket. Half of them probably can't even read.

I stress from the time I get home until I go to bed. I worry about cooking dinner, then doing the dishes, cleaning the house, then bathing the kids. I stress myself out. How do working mom's work 40 hours a week and have time to keep everything organized and clean and still spend time with the kids and have energy left after putting them to bed?

my son is a little over four, he's sooo easy to deal with. he mellow and listens. my daughter can't seem to pay attention. youtell her to look at you and she does for just an instant and then the eye are back to wandering. she doesn't take naps well. she's constantly into mischief, and has recently got an attitude in the last month that make's me just want to almost slap her. did i mention she's turning three in a couple days.

what if she has a.d.d. they can't treat her this young. i don't want her to think i love her brother more, cus i don't. but it may appear that way just becuase i don't have to get after him as often. how do i deal with her, or get her attention without out making her repeat everything i say back to me. i;ve been trying that too and it doesn't seem to help much.

both my kids are very smart and very well behaved, call me drill sergent mom, but i can't seem to get her to focus or listen to me.

My two year old son has started throwing these fits where he bangs his head on the floor and if you try to pick him up he can maneover his body to go limp and then he flares back up again. I have tried time out. I am at my wits end. I don't know how to make him calm down and I don't know how to make them stop. Please tell me this is just a phase. I have never given into his temper tantrum so I don't understand why he keeps throwing them.

I have a 5 month old and I want to avoid the HUGE problems I had with my oldest child when I took her off the bottle. I took her bottle away at 14 months and it was a HUGE problem after a week of screaming I let her have a soother that she found somewhere in the house. I don't want to have to go through this again and though if I could introduce a sippy cup earlier this might help, what do you think?

My two boys are on the cut off for sending to kindergarden. My 6 year old will be elgible this fall and my 5 year old will be also. My five year old is far more advanced than my 6 year old. My oldest had seizures when he was 6 months old... He is developing on schedule now....but should i hold my 5 year old out another year? I think he would benefit from being in school. The worker on my case kept saying that there were things wrong with my paper work. For example, doctor didn't put the date on a paper, I was missing my tb shot in one, etc. I would fix the paper work and send it back to him. He was suppose to come out and check out my house. He never showed up. I left him a voice mail. He never got back to me. Keep in mind that it's been over a year since and today out of the blue, he calls me and asks me to send him a copy of my recent physical and that he will mail me some paper work and that once I fill them out and send them to him, that he could come and check out my home in 2 weeks. He sounded frustrated as he was talkng to me. Does anyone have a home child daycare and did you go through the same thing? Does it really take this long or is it that I'm stuck with a worker who isn't doing his job?

My daughter will be turning two in just a few months and up until she turned about 18 months she used to be a wonderful eater. Now however she won't eat much at all! She'll either take two bites of things i give her or feeds the food to the dogs. I've tried alot of different foods but she acts the same way towards all of it. . I also tried pediasure and she refuses to drink it. I don't know if its because she is just to busy to eat or what but even giving her things in little containers to carry with her ends up on the floor for the dogs. Please help i am really worried!

I think his mother should be charged with abuse. It was obvious that she had been feeding him steroids at one point in his life, but to put a seven year old through that is just cruel Are the laws in Russia different for child abuse

My daughter is almost 5 and sometimes takes a nap, which is fine with me. She is sometimes cranky in the afternoon. BUT my son who is 2 1/2 keeps play toys at nap time and getting in all sorts of trouble. If he does not nap he is a mess in the afternoon. I just took all the toys out of his room, now what?

I am a SAHM with 2 kids. My daughter is 5 and my son is 2. When my son goes down for his nap I myself am so ready for a nap also. My daughter doesn't nap anymore but she will watch a movie and I will watch it with her and take a quick power nap. People tell me how horrible it is I do this.
I am told I am "just" a mom how tired can I be.

Any others need a nap???
