She is really starting to creep me out. Her and her mom live in our house, and she talks with a british accent. Listen, her mom doesn't have one, we don't, nor does anybody around us. We don't really get her to watch animal planet or nothing.. so what is the problem? ( the only reason I even care is because I take care of her all the time. I am left home alone with her alot )

My sons (ages 3 and 4) are starting to do that as well. I can think Charlie and Lola (cartoon on Playhouse Disney) for that. Kids will imitate things that they like. For a while my 3 year old sounded a lot like "Mater" from the movie Cars. Now he sounds like Charlie. He likes Charlie and Marv, so he wants to sound like Charlie and Marv. There is no harm in it. Just let her be. She will soon outgorw it and move on to a new accent.

Your cousin must have heard someone speaking with a British accent, even if it's not regularly. I doubt she would have it from no where! Maybe she picked it up from a chance listening and remembered it because it was so different from everyone elses.

There are (although rare) cases of people suddenly getting an odd accent with no logical reason why. These can last a couple of years or throughout the person's life.

My daughter had a Brooklyn accent at age three, never had been to Brooklyn and while we did live in New York it was no where NEAR Brooklyn and most of the people we knew had North Eastern New York accents (close to Canada). She was never "exposed" to anyone whith a Brookly accent. In fact when she was learning to talk we lived in California...
When children are learning to talk they will sound as if they have certain accents, your cousin just happens to sound british right now...my daughter sounded like she was from Brooklyn. Eventually she will out grow it when she learns to speak a bit more. BTW There is no "problem"...except with you.

To him she could be his pal. She additionally be there using fact Irene thinks that he's lonely and desires a chum. I even have considered this better than as quickly as, as long as he isn't afraid of her do no longer hassle approximately it. that's sounds to me like Irene and him get alongside only high quality. perhaps you adult males can get him to talk to you approximately Irene, only sit down and pay attention you need to be waiting to income from him why she is there.

She might of just saw it on some tv show and tried it herself, then found out that she could do it too. That or, does she ever go to daycare? If she does, maybe a snobby kid was talking like that and she caught on. Who knows, it might just be a phase she's going through. Hope this helps!
