I trained twin girls. First make sure she is ready. We tried everything. The only thing that worked was a big t-shirt and nothing else. Try taking her at least once an hour to try. We also put Cheerios, just a couple and got them to potty on them. They thought this was funny. Whatever works HUH?

I was reading about the sticker chart. When she "goes" on the potty she gets a sticker, and after collecting enough stickers, she gets a present. You can begin by a present for every 2 stickers, and then for every 3, then 4, etc... Also, when she is mostly trained, you can use the sticker idea for every day with no accidents, and after a week, if she has enough stickers... Also, I read maybe you could leave her alone for a couple minutes, give her privacy? I don't know, I have to potty train a boy soon...

Yes, as a lady above says, try a reward system of colourful stickers or badges and see how many she canncollect each day.

Or put the potty in the bathroom and see if she can go in there to do her business 'just like mummy', and reward her afterwards again.

She will soon realise that if she pleases you by using the potty she will obtain a prize ... it works!

Try taking the dollies and teddies to use the potty as well... more good examples to follow.

Well Take her to the potty and tell her she has to pee there from now on and also if you put undies on her instead of a diapar and she pees she wont like being wet like that and that will encourage her to use the potty. If you praise her when she does pee in the tolite and you act happy about it and excited that will make her happy too. But if she pees herself tell her thats yucky and shes suppose to use the potty. I hope my answer helps a little. good luck with your littleone!

We got our daughter to use the potty by letting her sit there with her books. After a while she started peeing in the potty. It takes them a while to get comfortable using the pot. Once they do, they really don't like wetting/etc themselves.

Check out the following site. It guides you on whether your child is reading to be potty trained as well as providing various ways to encourage your child to use the potty.

if she is showing the signs of being ready then i recommend the three day seventy five dollar method> let her run around naked for three days> took my daughter about five days but we have had very few accidents since then> we tried the sticker method but still had accidents every day after three months> also poo pooing in the potty will take the most amount of time> good luck

oh the seventy five dollars is for getting the carpets cleaned when your done> best of luck< i"m working on how to train my son now>

I tried everything. From stickers to the pee doll. The only thing that worked was putting panties on her. The first 3 days she did pee on herself. But she hated being wet so then she started going to the potty.

Let her spend some time with other little girls who are already potty trained. They will teach her how, and she will be more likely to try it with someone her own age to show her how. Peer pressure works wonders.
