we just got our two year old the "big boy bed" but he keeps getting up out of bed! I keep placing him in there, and he just gets right back up to play.

I thought they outgrew this after 2. When my son does not get what he wants he will still fall on the floor and make a stink. He is mildly autistic and I know this is part of it. Anyone else still dealing with this at a preschool age?

My son is 13 months. We recently started weining and are down to 2 times in the evening, he is has a milk allergy. Recently he started to wake up every few hours and cries and tosses and turns like he is uncomfortable. I have tried everything I can think of, pain killer, nursing, water, rocking, singing. he seems angry and just not content. He has to sleep in the same room as me. He starts the night off in his crib and the rest of the night he sleeps in my bed with me which is another problem. Is it a phase or is it teething? Is this normal?

My 2 year old son, Will NOT fall asleep, If he doesn't have his night bottle.

I can get him to drink out of 'grown up' cups/glasses in the day time, He won't have anything to do with a sippy cup, And yes, I have tried various kinds, From Nuby to Avent, And every brand inbetween. I've also tried different kinds of 'spouts' to see if I could find one he seemed to like, to no avail.

I want him to give up the bottle, I don't want him to have disgusting teeth, But - I also need my sleep (which I won't get, If he doesn't have a night time bottle) because I have 2 other children, One being a 3 1/2 month old baby, that still wakes in the middle of the night, to eat.

What can I do?!!?!?!?!? Please help!!!!

Ok... Since you have a child and all or have a little brother...
If you did an activity about dimes and penny's and Nickels. How does your child react? Would your child be hectic? Would your child participate in this activity well? Just how would your child react and what would he say or do?

please answer this because i am making a newspaper at school and it is upon this subject.. THANK YOU!

I have a 16 month old girl who has her first ear infection now. She has it in both ears and still has it even after her medicine was done. We have an appointment with an ear, nose and throat specialist for this Thursday, and I will be asking him the following questions.. But I also wanted to hear from people that went through this with their child. I understand that ear tubes probably won't be necessary because this is her first time with an ear infection. What exactly are ear tubes? How are they put in? What are the pros and cons of having them? I have heard that in the long run, they can cause more damage than good. And how did you soothe your little one while they were having difficulty sleeping at night? Thanks!!

I've finally had enough. My four year old son is way too picky about what he eats! It's seems that this is only an issue at home. ( I know, my fault for caving in) When he is at the daycare or at his dad's for the weekend, he'll eat anything they put in front of him. When he's at home with me, he only wants one thing. I've finally decided to put my foot down and make him eat what the rest of us are eating. I know that it will be hard for a couple of days. I hate the thought of my little one going to bed hungry, but I know it's for his own good that he tries and eats more things. I feel bad for spoiling him in the past and giving into the whining. Please...any parents that have gone through this..Help!! I need advice on how to stay strong and not give in. My fiance says that he'll be fine and he'll eat when he's hungry, I know that's true. I just can't stand the thought of him being hungry. Please...give me some advice on how to get through this

My son is 4 1/2 y.o. and has Bipolar disorder. He won't sleep in his own bed and always ends up in one of his sisters, even if he starts out in his own bed. We have tried locking his sister's door with hook and eye locks, and even a chain. He amazingly gets them open. I need suggestions about how to get him to sleep in his own bed and through the night.

Help! My 3 year old keeps telling me his cousins moved away because they don't love him anymore. It didn't help that one of his best friends also moved away last month.

He told me yesterday that his soon to be baby brother or sister won't love him and will move away.

I'm out of ideas, any help would be greatly appreciated.
