Try to think of something original, forget the winnie the pooh and the disney stuff or ducky or noahs ark, we want something original and cannot think of it, remember we live in texas and we thought about having a western theme , what can you think of ?????

How about something like Double Trouble, Double Fun. You could have a game where the guests have to guess "double" meanings or "double" phrases like double dribble or something. How about having everyone dress like twins with someone else from the party? Everything's bigger in Texas, so what if everything for the party was double sized -- cake, decorations, giant balloons? This is a toughie. I did find this recipe for Double Trouble Cookies. Good luck to your wife -- oh, and I guess you too :).

Twins should DEFINATELY be the theme. Having twins is special, it doesn't happen to just anyone!
Ask a friend to host your shower. Having a party in your own honor so that people can bring you gifts is considered "gift grubbing" by many people. You and your friend can put your heads together for a great theme idea!

Western theme would be cute for little boys. My two sons just happen to love trains though, so that would be my first pick. For a western them you could come up with several cute things, food would have to be barbecue of course, and for decorations you could use red bandannas, cowboy hats.....whatever really. Are there going to be small children there? A good way to keep them occupied would be to rent pony rides through a local company.

I think a western theme would be a great idea. You could make it kind of vintage western, though. You can find all kinds of old cowboy things at party stores and department stores.

A theme for the shower or a theme for the boys' rooms?
Forgive me, but where I come from a shower is a gift from someone else to you, and to request your own theme is tacky and poor etiquette.
If you're talking about how you should decorate your kids' rooms and what to register for, that would be a different question. But picking your own theme for your shower? Tacky tacky tacky.
