I am having a baby doll tea birthday party for my daughter who is turning 5 years old. I have gotten many great ideas in the past, so I was wondering if you have any ideas on what we can do. I have some ideas- but you guys have come up with great ideas from past questions. Thanks so much!

I made a teapot cake for my daughter's third birthday. I used a Wilton doll cake pan, which is almost a half a sphere. I decorated it with rolled fondant, a handle and spout formed from fondant, and icing flowers.

Also we served sandwiches (a big sub from walmart sliced small for the kids), fruit, cupcakes. The little girls wore flowery dresses. It was a very cute party.

If there is time during this party, perhaps the guests can help make little sandwiches or other treats before they sit down to eat. My experience is that kids this age LOVE to help out so I think that preparing their own party arrangements makes for even more fun for them.
I would also send out very fancy invitations. Have your daughter dress up and hand deliver them at the door. This is extra special, if you ask me.

My mom loves throwing parties for my brother and sister. I often help her so here are some ideas.

Activities
* Give each little girl a little jewelry set from the dollar store. Make them feel like princesses.
* Let the girls just play dress up or put on a little show. Let THEM be creative.

Lunch/ Dinner
* At each girls spot, leave a little place card at their spot.
* Fruit and dip, little mini sandwiches, FINGER FOODS
* Instead of tea, serve pink lemonade.

Decorations
* FLOWERS
* FLOWERS
* FLOWERS

As party favors, put them in little purses for the girls. GOOD LUCK
