we are medication happy in this country. My little brother started wetting the bed when his parents split. Has there been any recent tramtic things in his life latley? Also does he drink alot of soda? How we broke my lil bro of the bed wetting was no soda or juice hour before bed. Sips of water are fine. Make sure he goes to the bathroom before crawling in bed. Also talk to the kid see if anything bothering him or is he to frigtened to get up at nite to go? Is a bathroom light or a night lite left on? Try all these things before dopin the kid up.

He doesn't need treatment. It's normal. It's caused by not being able to hold it until morning, not because of a medical problem.
My son is a heavy sleeper and requires at least 11 hours sleep. He just recently stopped wetting the bed, now that he is 9-1/2. On weekends when he is likely to sleep-in, I would wake him up very early and have him make a bathroom trip and then let him go back to sleep.
When he was younger, it was necessary to wake him in the middle of the night to prevent bed wetting.
Either put diapers on him, wake him up for a bathroom trip, or wash lots of sheets.

Honestly i only stoped completely wetting the bed when i was 11.... It was even worse for me cause i was sleeping on the couch and i pissed all over the couch. There are things that you can also do the can prevent him from urinating in his sleep like: Dont give him any liquids within 30minutes before bedtime, Make sure he pees before he gets into bed. If you go to sleeep with a full bladder, in the middle of the night you will have absolutely no energy to get up or you might even dream that your in the bathroom and your peeing in the bathrom. Good luck with your son.

its just a phase i wet the bed untill i was like 11, just make sure he doesnt drink anything before he goes to sleep, and make sure he uses the bathroom before he goes to sleep, also is he having dreams that causes him to pee? Because i had dreams that i thought were real life and that i was peeing in a toilet even though i was being in my bed, ask him. Also there are diaper things he can wear at night.

Ive heard that there are meds. to help with that. Don't let them have fluids for at least 2hrs. before bed and be patient.
