He is 18mo old and has been doing this for sometime. whenever he doesn't get his way or he gets frustrated. its to the point he is gettting a bald spot. what can i do to help this and is it normal

my son does not have long hair the point is he is pulling it out!!!!!!!!

This is known as Trichotillomania. The pulling of one's own hair.
Some people pull hairs one by one others in patches.
It is considered a reaction to stress or perhaps just a nervous habit. No one is really positive what the causes or true psychology behind it may be.

Talk to his pediatrition. Have you tried asking him why he pulls his hair out? Maybe you come up with another habit that is less harmful and tell him it is a lot more fun or something. Try telling him to tug on his earlobe (but not too much!) or giving him a stress ball.

get him a haircut,

thats what my father did for my younger brother

keep his hair short enuf that he cannot pull them out.

bald is not good looking, but short hair is okie

that will help
