My son is 2, almost 3. He'll be 3 in March, 2007. I need some advice from other parents. I do not know what to do about his behavior issues.
He has violent temper tantrums 10 -12 times a day, for no reason whatsoever. He doesn't throw himself down on the floor. He bites, hits, and kicks other people. His father, his 1 year old sister, and me. Or, anyone else who is around. He is constantly screaming.
The fits last usually 45 minutes to an hour.
He was potty trained by age 1. Now, he refuses to go to the toliet.
He was also a very verbal child and knew a lot of words. Now, he refuses to use them. Instead, he uses baby noises or screams
all the time.
We have tried everything we can think of for discipline, but nothing works.
HIs behavior has got so bad, he was, recently kicked out of his daycare. They won't allow him back in because he seriously injured another child.
My husband and I have taken him to our doctor, but he says he's fine and that he'll out grow it.

My husband can get frustrated with my 2 yr old daughter at times: when she cries for no reason, says "no" to us, or just doesn't obey. He will get really upset and will yell at her to not do what she is doing. Lately when we get home from work or even in the morning when he is getting dressed she runs away from him, doesn't want him to talk to her, and wants to be with me the whole time. What do I do? I want to get them to start bonding again with each other. We both take her to daycare together and it seems like the only time they aren't fighting is when they kiss each other goodbye in the morning. HELP!!!! I want them to get along! They are family by blood for crying out loud!

She has been rocked or nursed to sleep for a year, and now when she gets up at night she can not put herself back to sleep without it. I am pregnant again, and this has to stop, not only for me, but she needs a good night sleep too!!

I started potty training her when she was 18 months old. She did relly well for about two months then she got up one morning and said she wasn't going to go and hasn't since.
I've tried everything to get her to use the potty. Rewards, musical potty chair, pull-ups, taking diapers away and I still have made no progress.
I have another daughter who is two and I'm trying to train her too but my oldest is making it hard to train her. If she sees sissy on the potty she runs up screaming and pulls her off. Now my youngest dosn't want to sit on the potty.
I have to get them out of diapers they are killing my bank account, not to mention that they are just too old for diapers.

my son is 2 years old. and if I let him walk beside me by himself he would go all over the place. now that I've been using my toddler harness he is great, he does not stray from me!! some times I let the harness go 2 see what he does and he just follows me, like he didn't even know that I've let go. the reason I'm so afraid to let walk by himself is because I don't want anything bad to happen to him. like being kidnapped or something worse. my question is why don't they have more laws/rules stating that toddlers should be harnessed? I konw of 1 state that has those laws/rules. why won't they have those laws else where? Like maybe there wouldn't be as many kidnappings?

Please help!!
No mean/joke answers please?

My daughter is in the "no" stage and the "I do it." stage. Sometimes we need to get out the door and she simply can't figure out how to get those pants on. She holds on to them and won't let me help her. I feel bad physically overpowering her, like a bully. How have you convinced your toddler to let you help them get dressed?

I take my three and four year old boys to a play and learn class once a week. We play together for about 50 minutes and then the kids have a snack and play while all the parents go to a separate room upstairs and have a little group chat. My three year old will not let me go to the parents group. He screams bloody murder like he's being tortured. A year ago the now four year old didn't care one way or another but the now three year old still won't let me go. Isn't he a little old for separation anxiety?

I don't want to say her age because that tends to persuade people to a particular answer. She could be 18 months and she could be anywhere to 38 months. She doesn't like to wear a dirty diaper anymore. She tries to go to the bathroom sometimes, but only when she wants to. When I do let her go around without a diaper, she will go on the floor and it doesn't bother her. Should I continue to do it the way she wants to on a sometimes basis? Or, should I force it and put underwear on her?
