Shes 4 and she cries at the drop of a hat. You look at her funny she cries. She dont get her way she cries.Maybe its just a girl thing cause my 8 year old daughter does the same thing. Just seems that girls are harder to raise than boys because of their emotional devlopment. Its like you dont want to do the wrong thing because you dont want them scared for life but yet just having to deal with every day issues seems very challenging.

I have a set of twin boys who are 2 yrs old. They are a handful. They are so hyper that when I take them to church or to a birthday party they are little destructo's. People look at me like I don't correct them but we put them in time out and they will not stay. They bite, hit each other, push, you name it and they are doing it. HELP!!! I don't know what else to do. They are embarrising me out in public by throwing tantrums and head banging. They are constantly getting hurt by one another cause they will not listen and mind me. They are more less you can say climbing the walls and I've tried everything. People say they are just being boys but all of my nephews are the same age as they are and they are very calm and you give them a toy and they play with it for ever. You give mine a toy and they throw it down and take off running and doesn't pay attention where they are going and falls and gets some more bruises. I wish they would just calm down. Are they accident prone ???HELP!!!!!

My son is 8 and still using pull-ups. He is also blind and has cerebal palsy. When I mentioned going online and the vast amount of info, his teacher also expressed intrest. She has many children with autism and toilet time is one of the most difficult areas to master. Thanks for any and all answers.

Hi,
Ive got a 20 month old baby girl, she is amazing and I love her to bits but during her birth I suffered badly, I ended up being rushed for an emergency c-section, the numbness had not gone deep enough so I felt them operating on me, so they then had to knock me out to deliver her, when they where operating my left lung collapsed and I ended up spending the first few hours away from her in intensive care.

I didnt bond with her at all, couldnt breast feed, and ended up with severe post natal depression afterwards for the first 8 months of her life.

Ive recovered with great help and support from my fiance and family and great friends, and were as close as can be now, but its getting to the stage when Id like to consider having a little brother or sister for her and Im worried.

Not so much that the same thing with the birth will happen - as ive since spoke with the consultant - but that I wont bond with the new baby, and how I'll cope.

Any advice? I would like another

I have just finished refurbishing and decorating my little man's bedroom and I want to surprise him and add some new toys. Without consideration of price and size, what toy(s) would be best for a two and half boy? a tool box? an indian tipi?

She refuses to go to bed, and cries all night if we leave her in her room, but has tonz of energy all night and stays up the entire night! She won't go to sleep until it starts to get light outside.
She won't nap during the day, either, and seems really scared of the dark, of seeing things, and strange noises. What could it be? What do we do?

My son is 1 year and still has NO teeth. Due to insurance issues we wont be able to get in for his 1 year check until after October 1st. Is this normal or should I be worried? All the babys his age have 4-8 teeth some even have their molars! I was wondering if any other moms have had a toothless wonder like me? He is above adverage or normal in every other developmental stage.

i discovered when we began to potty train her about 11/2 years ago, that she is very sensitive in her vaginal area. when i'd help her wipe, she'd yelp a little and told me that it hurt...i took her to her doctor, she took a look and said i shouldn't worry. she didnt see any signs of infection or anything. i know there;s no abuse going on....so...she's four now and she still has the pains. are some girls just more sensitive than others??

My 15 month old daughter (weaned at 12 months) has suddenly become really picky with her food. She won't eat anything really except for drinking her (formula) milk, and sometimes a bit of water. A girlfriend suggested I try making the formula with full-cream milk instead of water, to increase the fat in her diet (ie. 200ml milk, 4 scoops powder; and we have already introduced cows milk into her diet). I am skeptical about this, it seems excessive and unnecessary. My daughter is not about to fade away, and I am sure this is just a phase, but I would still like to get some other opinions on this double-whammy milk concoction. Would this be worth thinking about if she continues to be picky like this? Thankyou in advance for all you thoughful help.
