There is a Blue's Clues Pre-K game I found for my 4 year old and also try the http://www.nickjr.com website that will give her a lot of fun options.http://pbskids.org is good too. They both have shopping links to buy games and such. Good Luck and you'll be amazed at how fast she learns numbers and letters on her own playing those games and you'll have a lot of fun playing right along with her. My daugher loes http://www.barbie.com too. She can play dress up and make up and all that.

try the set called Reader Rabbit, they are SUPERB!
Ive only found them online though, but they work and are super fun,my daughter could count to 20 and write her name, new all the alphabet, capital and lowercase letters and knew all the basic colors and some "newer" ones before she was 2 years old with these games!!!they are fabulous!!she is 9 now,my 18 month old daughter however, doesnt care for ANY games, she likes to look at cartoons like spongebob online, but thats about it! LOL so it just depends on the kiddo I suppose??
also try your childs FAVORITE televison character, most have computer games out nowdays and kids LOVE that!

Well, its not a computer program but is for the tv which might be better for you because her messing with the pc might start to become a problem later on...get her a v-smile. they sell them at wal-mart and you can buy different catridges for the game. they focus on the age groups and shapes, letters, numbers with singing alphabet song, and just kid oriented games so that the child doesn't think its a learning experience.

Online, I have found Fisherprice to be the most educational.
To purchase, Jumpstart are wonderful! They start at Preschool and are very basic.
My daughter also just loves to play in Paint. It helps her with cordination.

When I was teaching I bought Putt-Putt games which are great for comprehension and sequencing. I now use them with my nephew (3) and my daughter (22 months). They love them. Every where you click something happens. Very interactive games!

Hi. I recommend Jumpstart Preschool, my child was absolutely fascinated by it until completely mastering all games.
And it really reinforces preschool basics-- ABC's, 123's,shapes and colors etc.---there's also a dot-to-dot game that's really versatile.
