1. How much total time does she sleep?
2. If the total time of sleep, is less than 6 hrs for every 24 hrs you have a problem.
3. Playing a lot and not sleeping is not ADHD.
4. Your Peds doctor needs to know that she is not sleeping, and Dr needs to know details of her sleep patterns. If you can video her while she sleeps will help the Dr.
5 There are multiple problems that might cause her not to sleep, and the Dr can address these areas. Cardiology, Respiratory, Neurology, Genetic disorder.
6. If she is just not taking long naps, then you don't get much rest during the day. Nothing at all wrong with just catching the 15 to 20 minutes. You might discuss with the Dr that you need guidance in getting her to take longer naps. ADHD is not diagnosable by playing a lot. ADHD is a very serious condition that should be diagnosed by a Neurologist, not a teacher, or psychiatrist.

If your child does not sleep at night and only sleeps for 15 to 20 minutes at a time then it could be ADHD. But the doctor will most likely not even try to diagnose until the baby is in school.

This is not normal and is very unhealthy. Lack of sleep can lead to obesity, accidents, behavioral problems,...........

If the baby seems rested, I would think that it was OK, otherwise ask the baby's doc.
