I gave my daughter a GREAT 3 year party with 3 kids. Even more, it was MANAGEABLE. Surely we have all been to parties with 12 two year olds and it is mayhem and the birthday boy or girl is overwhelmed. Two year olds don't even really play together that much yet and surely they can not play a lot of games. I think I would, have some sort of craft -- self adhesive foamies or stickers and paper with crayons. Something to engage the little ones. I am sure they would enjoy a pinata too. Of course, at this young age all the parents are going to stay, so have a meal, pizza, deli tray, cake, ice cream, maybe do some silly music -- get the kids to dance around a bit with mom or dad. Present. Boom - done.

I have read in the past that the recommended # of guests is the same as the kids age. That did work well for my daughters 3rd party with the 3 kids. We did coloring sheets of Elmo, pin the nose on elmo, and elmo pinata (that a dad had to break), ate lunch, cake, presents. Done.

What you need to do is have party favors for all the kids. Since they are only 2 and there is only 4 of them that would be nice. Do like goodie bags or something along those lines. Get some cupcakes (easier to clean up and the kids usually only eat the icing off them). And a pinata the kids will love that. They now have pull pinatas that you just pull strings on the bottom to break it. That seems to be safer for that age.

Be thankful you only have four 2 yr olds coming to your house. Just think of all the money you can save. Just keep it simple. Save your nerves for when he is older & wants to have slumber parties. Try having five 11 yr old boys spend the night. I've been there. It's fun, but it wore me out!

Katey ,Katey. ONLY? Any time you have have four two year olds it is a party. Keep it simple. Cake Balloons, Music and toys. A pinata (supervised) is great. Nothing fancy at this age! It will be a blast. Have fun!

I think that parties with a limited number of children are the easiest parties to throw. You could do a bubble theme. Have bubbles for them to blow. Have bubble wrap for them to stomp on and pop. Have a cake with rubber duckies and bubbles on it. Just a suggestion.

You could also have it somewhere else like....
Burger King
Park
Chuck E Cheese

Best of luck!
