I bought my laptop a few months ago, paid for it in full, and I pay for my cell phone and the bill for it every month. My parents are now trying to take them away from me, because I didn't get supper started on time (stupid eh?). Do y'all think they have any right to take something that they haven't paid for?

he has been through a lot, his dad and i got custody of him, annd for his unfit mother.. she got weekend and summer visitation. This year he started stealing, lying, and fighting everday in school. No matter what his dad and I do or take away he still does it. It's like he is completely psycho... he gets soooo mad at the littlest things and screams and cries. I can't take it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think even if it is a bogus threat, parents need to know so that we can help our children with any questions but the school thinks otherwise. What do you other parents think??

My daughter is 10 in December. Her father is supposed to get her on weekends. Well i have been fighting this problem with her since she was 4. She never wants to go and if i force her she cries for hours on end talking about how she hates it there and she hates teh way he treats her. She's old enough now to have friends and sleep over's so she wants to go to her friends house the whole weekend, so she called and told her dad that she did not want to go this weekend. He told her that she has no choice and he will be there to pick her up and she better be ready. After 6 yrs of forcing this child to do this i feel it's only hurtnig her more and more every time i do so and i dont' know what to do, so i am asking for opinions and help. Serious people only please and thank you in advance!

I was wondering if homosexuality is really a biologicial issue, or could have a majority determination basedon the parents influance on the child? After reading this, http://medsocial.com/safe/viewblog.aspx?blogaction=viewblog&show=681 it got me to thinking. My parents fought alot and my father was distant and my mother over nurturing, and I am homosexual, stuck in an abusive cycle with other men, so this makes sense to me.

I say no, I would never expose any children to second hand smoke, especially in a car where they can't get away from it. Sadly, I see mothers doing this all the time. I'm sure they know the health risks, so why continue to do it?

On my way to work this morning, the radio station i listen to had a segment about this website called marryourdaughter.com.
apparently parents can submit their daughters to this website for an arranged marriage as young as 13. and this is based here in the united states.
there is also a "bride fee" that is to be paid before the daughter is married.
they claim its perfectly legal, and states so in the bible.
I read the "testimonials" from the parents, and it seems they just want to sell of their child to make a quick buck.

I find this completely appauling, disgusting and disturbing. these parents should be locked up in jail!!!! what has the world come to? As a soon to be Mommy, i cannot imagin doing this to my child.

what are your thoughts? do you agree or disagree with this website? why or why not? would you to do this to your child??

I have an 11 month old and am trying to get her more "big girl" foods and I have been reading that she should be eating the same foods that we eat just cut up into smaller pieces. The problem is that its just been my husband and I for so long that we don't always eat the best foods for dinner (frozen pizzas, etc.) I want to start making meals that we can all eat, any suggestions as to what is appropriate for her right now. I would love some ideas or even some links to websites for recipes. Thanks

Here's the situation: Their Dad & I were unmarried, we split up 2 years ago. He has been living with a woman who has a 14 yr old foster daughter. Last year my son started exhibiting some sexual behavior, I immediately took him to Children's Hospital, had a full examination which revealed he had not been physically violated. We saw all the Therapists and nothing ever came out from him that he was being abused. We went to PCIT (Parent Child Interactive Therapy) to help us learn to communicate better. The behavior he had exhibited ceased.

On Sunday night I witnessed him exhibiting similar behavior again. We talked about it and I later asked his 4 year old sister what he was doing. She told me it was something that he and the 14 year old did when at Daddy's house. I asked him again and he revealed the exact nature of the abuse. I called CPS, they interviewed her and she denied it. CPS came to my home yesterday and my son and daughter did not disclose anything to the worker. We are going

I find it amazing. I have been having problems with certain children in my street. After years of it, it thought of asking the parents of two of the children if they minded me telling the children to be careful round my car/ property. Some use that was, they took the hough and refuse to speak to us at all. (the parents and the children)Some parents need to face the consequences that their children are doing wrong, and that in the future they can't just take the hough when their teenage kids are causing havoc.
