Well there's the obvious foods like mashed potatoes, or apple sauce. Pasta, chicken, veggies cut into really, really, really small pieces usually does well. You can also give her the same thing everyone else is eating just try and blend her foods in the blender before serving them to her. Sure it may look like slop, lol, but it'll be safe.

I would make a dish with an assortment of basic foods. A roll, mashed potatoes, cooked veggies (carrots, broccoli, green beans, peas) and maybe little bites of chicken. Stay away from hot dogs as children easily choke on this. Cut up pears, peaches and pineapples for a finger food salad.

Cook potato, meat and veg. Blend the meat and veg and mix with the potato. Give the baby a yogurt and a spoon for dessert afterwards to help her with independence. Soon afterwards she will eat anything put in front of her with a spoon.
Also if you cant always find the time to cook, make extra and keep it in the fridge for lunch the next day.
Bread without crust for her to naw on is a also a good start. Good luck

Modified "Arroz con Pollo" is one of my kids' favorites.
Saute some chicken breasts in olive oil. Take the chicken out of the pan before it's done & set aside. Saute some rice in the same pan, add the water or broth for the rice and put the chicken back in the pan. Turn down the heat and simmer til done. Enjoy!

I would start with EASY, one pot dishes along with many fruits and veggies. Kids love to mix their food together anyway, so the one pot approach keeps them happy and makes clean up easier for you.
My family loves the organic "Hamburger Helper" with turkey or lean pork (I always mix in corn, beans, or some other veggie), egg casserole (hashbrowns, ham, squash and onion layers held together with eggs topped with cheese), or cornbread pizza (whole-grain cornbread mix lightly cooked, topped with your favorite *cooked* meat, veggies, and mild salsa and then baked until cornbread is fully cooked).
These are all pretty easy and please even the pickiest eaters (i.e. my husband). Just remember to slip in veggies and serve with a salad or fresh fruit/veggie plate. Never make a big deal of your baby turning her nose up at first glance or she will associate negative feelings with food. Stay away from over processed foods as they take just as long to prepare and have very little nutritional value. And if all else fails, our family motto..."cheese makes everything better!"
Good luck, start her out right and you will be rewarded with a happy healthy little girl that loves GOOD food!

potatoes (mashed or boiled) with butter or gravy. if you dont' know how to do gravy buy it canned. they generally dont' eat much meat causethey can't digest it yet. she can have green beans mushed up with forks. peas with fork, any vegetables with fork mushed. meat maybe once in awhile a hotdog cut very tiny pieces. small piece of pizza if she has any teeth. fries (madonalds) if small and soft. just try things as you go.

You can get some good recipes off of http://www.kraftfoods.com/kf -----they have all kinds of recipes. I would suggest something that she can eat easily. Ex--mashed potatoes, green peas, hamburger, etc. Try all different kinds of veggies that way she will eat more veggies and like them and be more likely to eat them when she gets bigger.
