Heh...I'm 28 & I still have a teddy bear that I sleep with. His name is Patch and I got him when I was 10. He still has a sweater with the year 1989 on it. I love that lil guy. I use him as a pillow, mostly. My head fits perfectly on his tummy. I never take him out of the apartment, though, and it does feel weird sleeping without him when I'm on vacation. I doubt I'll ever get rid of him, but I always retire him to the closet when I have someone else sleeping in bed with me.

I am not sure I have ever met a Teddybear I did not care about . I used to collect them, and love them so much.

My lil boy has a fav giraffee that I'll prolly keep 4-ever, and my lil girl has lots of fav stuffed toys. The special ones are
from birthdays or x-mas and toys won at the fair or carnivals.
I already love them more than they do. I think I realized this when they were 2 and older.

I am 13 and when i was about nine i didn't care much for my teddy bears, but my mom wanted me to keep them in my toy box as a 'memory'; Now i am happy that she did, i am beginning to care more about them now, especially Mikey-( the bear i sleep with.) LOL! They bring back alot of memories from when i was little.

When they start to disregard them and you feel that they are growing up but you dont want to let go of the memories so you hang on to those plushies and keep them in the treasure chest you created.

I hate my boy's teddies!!

They have so many but have chosen the oldest two out of the lot! And they have got this idea that they must carry them everywhere!!! I have bought them two new ones, Spiderman ones. They talk and have a bedtime switch. I will sure feel better them taking 'Spiderman' out than taking their old ones out!! I hope they like them!! They get them tomorrow, for their birthday!

When they leave home and abandoned in their old room , is a bag of stuffies-of course I remember every occasion for every toy, birthday, christmas, just because.... It feels like the toys are lonely....
