if a father is alone with his young daughter in a public place and she needs to go to the washroom what should he do if there is no 'family bathroom'?

bring her into the boys room?
go with her into the girls?
send her in to the girls room and tell her to yell if she really needs him?
ask a stranger (female) to keep an eye on her?
is there any other options?

I hear my stepmom talk to one of her friends about me critising me, how i act daily, how i spend too much time on comp and how i dont spend with her although she tried and so on. Does this means she dont like me/ love me? Should i tell her that i heared this convo ?

What do you think of Teenage Sex?
Ok i know teenage sex is TOTALLY wrong. With or without condoms. But it's just that in my schoo, to get respect and popularity, you need to atleast have had sex. I tried to tell my friends that it's a waste of time and can mess up your life. But they think im "little little miss goody too shoes" or I"m a saint. And they give me weird looks.

Some even tell my my *****'s too ugly or smells. That's why no guy would want to **** me. I try not to let this get to me, but it does. And i don't want to change who i am for anyone. Should i have sex at 15 like everyone else.

my mom is punishing me for making fun of my little sister getting her period, she told me since i think its so funny maybe i can walk in her shoes for awhile, so she marched me to the store held my hand and bought me a package of these little girly frilly panties, and pads and tampons, and made me go to the register and buy them, she said i will use them just like my sister so i can realize how hard it is? can she do this is this fair? what am i gonna do with tampons it must be a joke right?

i watch a 6 year old and 7 year old and they wont get a long. one does something the other one just gets mad and yells and says i hate you i wish i never had to come here which pushes the other one to say i wish you weren't here either. is there anything i can do to help them get along. it never seems to end with the names and put downs (normal girl things) and then when one is quiet the other one has to egg on an argument. its driving me crazy.

strong willed two year old, who really likes to not listen to me, I have no patience today as my head feels like it is going to explode. I have no one who can watch him either, I am getting irritated with him as well.
I cant go anywhere cause I dont drive, so going to the docs is not gonna happen.
My son is bored as well, and I have a migraine so my energy is low as hell.
What should I do???

Okay, I have an 8 (boy) and 7 (girl). I'm trying to come up with a chart of rules and consequences. Basically the rules consist of : No running in the house, no name calling, no hitting, and no backtalking. Those are the 4 big ones at least that I think should have a "set" punishment. Any ideas for punishment? I've got one for the running - they pay me a dollar of their money....they value their money so that's cut down on it a WHOLE lot. What about the rest? They already do dishes and their own laundry and make beds as regular chores so those can't be a punishment. Any suggestions????? Or does anyone have a punishnent/reward system already made up that you could share with me????

I'm asking this with respect. I am a married mother with two kids and a dog and everything usually goes smoothly until my husband goes away on business. Then all hell breaks loose and nothing goes right. This time it is an emergency trip to the vet. Really how do you do it? How do you keep it all together? How do you stay sane?

everyone i know is having problems with their kids, weather it is pregnancy at 15, drugs, dropping out of school, violence, and bad behavior, they refuse to help clean. its ridiculous! and yes i have a 12 year old soon to be 13 that has behavioral problems too. and of course its always the mothers fault. being a parent is a joke. if people were smart they wouldnt have kids.

ok, well i have this boyfriend and we are getting really serious, we have been together(counting just dating) for about 7 months. and well we are sexually active. we talked befor anything about what we would do if i got pregnant and we are always safe and we both went to get an std test done just to be sure.... but l have been wondering latly, by the slim choice if i got pregnant , how would i tell my parents. i don't even live with my mom any more. i just don't know how i would come out and say it, and i know i probably shouldn't worry about this now but i mean, What If? i was just wondering if anyone had any advice on if something were to happen how to break the new, or any other advice for me. thanks

turns out aspartame and soy can cause cancer. I thought these things would be better for them since sugar is bad and meat is unhealthy I thought substitutes would be better. Here I've been increasing my childrens risk of cancer and other health problems. What kind of mother am I. I feel horrible!

My 21 year old daughter is very into theater and is graduating from college this year...I have no problems with her or her life style, she is appreciative of all she has been given and does well and so on...problem...she wants to move to NYC after graduation..she has led a somewhat sheltered life...am I being over protective to want to try to talk her out of it...?????...theater is her thing and that is where it is at...she is very talented but the city thing scares me...help???? thanks....

My husband abandoned me and the kids but the judge has ordered that he have them half of the time. I want to see my kids daily. I am thinking of running away with them but them I will get caught and end up in jail and he will have them all of the time. I can't kill him because then a stanger will end up with my kids. This has been going on a year and I can't continue to be this sad. I go to counseling and I take meds but that is not really helping. Life just sucks. Why continue?
