I have 3 children and I am 7and a half months pregnant. My 5 yr old girl goes to school from 8 til 2:30. When she gets home all hell breaks loose! My 4 yr old starts running and yelling, my 2 yr old takes her stuff and she gets all mad and starts whining and throwing fits b/c people are touching her stuff. She also throws fits about everything. She tries to punish my 2 and 4 yr old, I keep telling her I am the mom! I punish them by either giving them a spanking or sending them to their room. They just don't listen and it seems like no matter how much I discipline them they just keep on! there dad left, I think that might be causing some of the problems, but geez, enough is enough! I just can't take it!They argue with each other all the time. Why do they act so bad?

and sometimes it is hard for me to accept that I am not his father. In my mind I look at him and I love him like I love my own daughter. He is two and the same age my own little girl and I love him so much and sometimes it hurts that I am not his daddy. I found a preschool to send him to and I was filling out the application and I realized that I couldn't put that I was his father even though I feel that I am. I don't know how to deal with these painful feelings or put all the energy I have in me to be his father. Can someone give me some advice.

I need your help and cooperation. Just let me know if you are parent or not and which is your type of parenting… (Permissive – democratic – authoritative …Maybe you are somewhere in between-) I am going to use it for my research.

Try to remember: No parenting style will work unless you build a loving bond with your child.

i picked my daughter from her childminder at our local mother and toddler group. I feel lucky cause my childminder is a close friend of mine so I know the way she has brought up her own kids and how she treats them. Anyway, when I picked her up, there was another childminder there with 2 children in her care, both of them under 2. I felt sick leaving there because the way she spoke to them was attrocious. She was calling this poor lad 'stupid boy' and pushing him out the way and all because he cried when she went out of his view. I found out after that the poor boy suffers from anxiety which to me means that she should be reassuring him rather than punishing him for being scared that he couldn't see her. when he went to her for some comfort, she pushed him out the way and turned her back on him. i was really upset about it and thought about reporting her.i would be gutted if i ever found ut that my child was being spoken to no better than you'd speak to a stray dog.what do u think? x

My cousins are 6 and 9 years old.

My aunt gives me gifts with my cousins pictures on it. Like she gave me magnets with pictures of their faces on it. And the next year I got a cheap plastic mug with pictures of them on it. Every year its something new.

I am not close with these cousins, and I honestly don't want to have their pictures on all my stuff at my house. They are really homely kids at their best too.

I just say thank you when my aunt gives me all this stuff, and I have kept it all for at least a year, can I throw it away?

How do you deal with people giving you stuff like this all of the time. I appreciate the gifts, but I don't want to keep them.

I don't have any children, but when I do have a baby I will not be passing out stuff like this unless its to grandparents. My wife has two little brothers my cousins' ages and her mom is never giving me stuff like my aunt does.

What about pictures of your friends' kids that they send in the mail to you?

Any advice

Currently her vehicle has a busted out window in the back where my child sits and her other vehicle is a full size van with no passenger seats. Do I let her go with her. It is like freezing outside and her mother lives on the other side of Indy. I am not sure what my rights are has a father.

At what point did you stop the tooth fairy? When all the first teeth had gone? The fairy is very much on the go in our house but I don't know when a good point to call it a day is. I would appreciate any ideas you have or suggestions with what you did.

My husband is a great father, dont get me wrong, but it seems like when either of our children need anything, ex:bath, washed up from snack, bed time That he always find something to be busy with, and or tells them to come to me. I wouldnt really give it up either, because i love the extra time with them, but when i ask him, he says its because i am better then him. I am wondering, is this so, have i ever said this to him before during an agruement. Or is this is way of coping out on his duties.
