My daughter is almost 6 years old and complains that vigina hurts after peeing. I thought it was a urinary tract infection and took her to the doctor today, but all the tests came back normal, she looked at it and it looked normal, no redness.
My daughter constantly feels like she needs to wipe herself moments after peeing, like she feels some is leaking out. So by doing this she is rubbing the area raw, so it hurts worse each time.
I tried putting a cream on it, but she said it burned, and it probably did as it is raw.
The doctor said everything was fine and maybe it was caused from her drinking carbanated drinks, but she doesn't drink them, at all. So I know it isn't that. What do I do? The doctor said to come back in two weeks and they would re do the urinary tests, but this can't go on like this anymore, one episode lasted for almost two hours tonight.
I want to get a second opnion. Does this sound like anything anyone has dealt with before? Thank you for your advice.

I wear underwear which fits me well. It's not too loose, but in the back by my butt it's WAY saggy. It always get bunched up and such.

I've tried numerous types, and this always happens. What can I do?

Commando - Not an option. It feels weird.

When freaks post questions about babies in microwaves and killing their children for breaking TVs, why does anybody answer. surely this just fuels their egos and encorages more like it. I say whenever we see them we should just report and just never answer. lets boycot these losers and have them get bored and go elsewere.

Am I the only one who sleeps in a separate room because of my husband's snoring. It's super loud and I just can't get any sleep. We can't afford snoring surgery and we've tried everything so I've just accepted it. Our sex life is fine but I miss the closeness of waking up next to him (it didn't get that bad til 2 years ago.) Just wondering if anyone else is in the same boat.

This question in no way is intended to open up a debate about whether I should be a stay-at-home mom or work outside the home. My kids have flourished in their preschool.
In a 5-week temp assignment, I had to take off 9 times because my kids would get sick with SOMETHING (asthma, cold, throwing up, etc.)
My husband doesn't get sick time yet, and he makes enough in 11 minutes to cover an hour of me working, so he doesn't take off.
When I was little, we had a Mommaw, who picked us up from school when we were sick so my mom could work. Now my mom is the mommaw, and like most 50-year-old women now, she works full-time.
We don't have many friends, and my sister can pick one of my kids up if they happen to get sick on Monday (her one day off). The town I live in doesn't have a "sick kid" daycare.
How do moms, particularly moms of more than one child, manage to hold down full-time jobs in that situation???

My son just turned two in August. He hasnt had a bottle since he was a year. He doesnt have an attachment to anything more than his pacifier. Not a stuffed animal or blanket. Is he too old for a pacifier anymore and if so, what is the best way to take it away? Ive listen to alot of other 2 year olds at daycare and some seem to have alot better speech. I hate to take it away too soon but I dont want his teeth growing funny or him not to speak as well as other kids.

For christmas, I will have a one month old, 2 year old, 4 1/2 year old, and a 6 1/2 year old. People keep on asking me what they need for christmas and I can't come up with anything. They don't really even need clothes, only a few things maybe. They have too many toys as it is (of course they'll get some new toys because it is fun to get new ones). What would you say that your kids need for christmas? Just looking for suggestions- thanks :)

I just got a notice sent home saying that all the 4th graders in my sons school have to enter some type of science experiment in a science fair. They gave us plenty of notice, since the science fair is not until next March, however there are different things that are due as early as next month. I never did a science fair when I was in school, so I have no idea how to come up with an idea for him. I thought that some type of dental experiement would be good, since I am a dental assistant and could help him alot on that type.

Are there any websites that would give me ideas?

I'm not angry. How do I approach this with my 5th grader without him feeling outed and getting defensive?
I want to convey: I don't want him to hide, or lie (he said it was ok), and to know porn is not real -- I want to transition to having open sex dialogue

My best friend (in Texas), feels that the term "kids" is a sort of derogatory term for "children", and is turned off by the word. I'm interested in different opinions across the world. I am currently writing some marketing text for a project and am wondering if I should avoid the word "kids".
