It wouldn't be normal if your daughter didn't do that. That just shows that you love and care about her. Her only way of communicating is crying and obviously she knows that you will responded to her cries. It won't take but a few days if you follow through with putting her down and letting her cry and comfort herself. It will drive you crazy - but keep reminding yourself that she's just fine and that she's been feed, changed, and all that stuff. Responding to her cries is just as important as teaching them to become independent and in-order to do that she might have to cry. Good luck and enjoy every minute with her!!

You spoiled your baby----no problem, as long as you break the cycle before he, she learns how to use it against you.
First thing, do NOT pick up your baby everytime it cry's. You will soon learn tto deal with the pain of hearing your baby cry when you figure out the differance between a "real" cry and a fake one. I have five children----you WILL live to regret it if you spoil your children, belive me! Check out this web site..........

You need to put her down and just let her cry. My 15 month old daughter would not go to bed by herself, so we started putting her to bed and letting her cry, it took about 3 nights and now I lay her down and she goes right to sleep, its hard but it works.
