My daughter is 19 her boyfriend is 43 i have known her boyfriend for over 20 years i really like him and now he will not hurt her is this right YES or NO.

I was just wondering how many parents are honest with their kids and how many people sugar coat things? Do your kids know about the war in Iraq? Do your kids know about the situation of the world? Why or why not? To what degree do they know about them? Do you feel it’s important for them to understand what the “real world” is like--or do you feel the need to preserve their innocence?

I do not need advice as to how to explain things to my children. I was just wondering how other parents explain the current issues in the world today with their kids.

he eats pablum but dont they get sick of it after awhile should i start to give him jar foods ? or different knids of cereal.....and also babys' his age, should they be sitting alone or doing anything like that yet...

Example question: If the two of them were being held captive by Hitler (I don't know why Hitler) which one would I save first? And that's only one for instance. They've got dozens of diffent scenarios.

If I say I would save them at the same time they say it's not possible. How do I answer them?

I have two kids. A 3yr old and a 1 & 1/2 yr old. When we where going through the check out at the grocery store I realized they both had candy bars and where eating them. I took the candy bars from them and had the guy scan them and throw them away. I told them both they where bad for stealing. My 3 yr old apologized about 5 minutes after when she had time to think about it. I'm denying them candy until Halloween. Do you think I am being too soft or to extreme or is there something you would do differently?

i am 24 now I remember i wasn't doing my homework that =10 spankings in school I was brought to the teacher desk she pulled down my pants and hit me with a paddle size yard stick she put me across her knee and I was paddled and I sat next to her for the year.

He is more than happy to do wees in the potty but gets in a real state when it comes to doing poohs, sometimes holding it in for hours so he doesn't have to use the potty and doesn't have to wet his pants. HELP!

do to stop fighting? I have tried board games, cards, even made them separate, into different corners, the worse is when they come home from school, they throw their backpacks in the floor and jackets, I send them to the room for time out. I am running out of ideas and I do not know what to do. I spatted one of my girls (not real hard) and she told her teacher that I beat her to death and had DCFS come to my house, they do see a councilor but I am stumpped.. can someone help me figure out how to handle this? PLEASE this is serious.

Im wondering what the best product to buy, as i have carpets, an im afraid my house will start to pong. Ive bought a basic carpet cleaner, but im paranoid, people might smell what im not smellin?
