Ive just started potty training my child. So as you potter trainers know, loads of accidents.

Im wondering what the best product to buy, as i have carpets, an im afraid my house will start to pong. Ive bought a basic carpet cleaner, but im paranoid, people might smell what im not smellin?

I wish i could get wooden looring or similiar down, but i live in an upstairs appartment, so anything except carpet is forbidden :o(

There's a product sold in pet stores Petsmart, Petco etc called Nature's Miracle-- it removes all "organic stains" and is the only product I've found that will truly elimate the urine odor on carpets--it doesn't leave a perfume and actually neutralizes the smell with enzymes-- its non toxic so safe around the kiddies or pets

You can get products that you spray on fabric that chemicaly remove the smells. One of them is called febreeze.

There are lots of home remedies, one of them is baking powder which reacts with the acidic urine and nutralises it. then you hoove the powder out of the carpet.

Check on websites about removing odours first through...

The best I know is baking soda with a little water.Or a good product for all those unruly odors febreeze.

I would leave it a few months and try again. The later you leave it (within reason) the easier it gets. We have a spray called Neutradol -very good even on doggy smells. (holds nose)

When i had twin boys (boys are far harder to potty train as you know they're sooo immature and stay that way) I had some nice wood effect lino put down.soo easy.

I used a pet stain remover, it will help remove the stains and deoderize at the same time.( kirby has a new pet shampoo that works great!!!) good luck!

Baking Soda works wonders and lemon juice can take out stains....Good LUck !!!:)
