As a mother of 4 children myself, I can say that's a really hard question to answer..because it depends on so many different things such as what the parent's financial background is, what the ages of the children are, most importantly what there needs are, thier views on upbringing (whether they are given an allowance, how much is enough for christmas and birthdays, costumes for halloween, after school activities, whether they are in gymnastics, karatee, etc.). There can not simply be a certain amount stated because there are so many things to take into consideration, and I believe that the amount changes each year. All children are different, and will all need different things in life, there may also be unexpected expenses. A lot of parents will have different views on what a child needs..and what is just a privelage to have...Most parents want to give thier children as much as they possibly can to have a positive upbringing and future at the same time..not giving them too much..so that they learn to appreciate things..and learn about responsibility. There is also a difference on what you "have" to spend and what you "choose" to spend yearly and this will differ as well. One thing is for certain, it is expensive to care for this many children, but well worth every dollar. Children are a blessing..and my children inspire me to be a better person everyday. Good luck.

well why do you care? Are you scared or somthing? Kids need just as much as you do.They aren't aliens they come in peace and can be reasonable.They understand and what they want is probably affordable like a halloween costume.

what ever it costs. Anyone that can give you an exact cost doesn't deserve kids if they count every cent spent
