imma mixed baby.....

I loved mixed babies. They are so beautiful. I believe the reason why is plain selfishness. Sure, people who adopt are great but some only adopt kids who look like them (racially) because it's "right." There has also been a lot of studies done stating it's important for African American kids to have the same race adoptive parents--white kids to have the same race adoptive parents and so on. It's really not that important. It's just people taking studies too far out of context. In my opinion I'd much rather be raised by a family who may not be my race instead of no family at all. What it comes down to is people and adoption agencies being too picky.

I don't know this to be true-- sounds like a made up statistic. However, so much depends on what resource you use for adoption. We've adopted 2 kids from the state child services, both African-American (sisters). The speed with which any group gets adopted is going to reflect the desires of the adoptive parents.

In my experience I think it's more accurate to say that older children are the last to get adopted. Though, if you believe in supply and demand, it would appear that african-american kids are in lower demand. Search for any private adoption agencies. A typical price scheme looks something like this: White babies $20K, hispanic babies $15K and black babies $12K. Horrific but true.

I just wish more people would consider domestic adoption instead of spending thousands of dollars to go overseas. The kids here are not any worse than that expensive ones. We've got 2 great daughters who just happened to be born to people who couldn't take care of them. Also-- we have a complete file detailing all of the parents' family histories. The kids have had all the health care they needed prior to coming to us because the state makes sure these things are done. I wonder how many foreign orphanages will give you the same information and guarantees.

I somewhat ought to disagree with what you say. a buddy of mine from paintings and her sister have each and every followed 2 mixed race children.that they had ideas of diverse chidren yet they chosen those desirable children, and that i advise desirable. at the same time as adopting children anybody is really in basic terms attempting to be moms and dads,i do no longer believe white human beings chosen white youthful ones to bypass them off as their personal.i comprehend any such enormous volume of white households who've followed korean children .human beings prepared to undertake opt to percentage love and function a kinfolk, they do no longer care about race. i'm no longer particular the position to procure this information from, probable out of your human being head,or do you paintings for an adoption business business enterprise or something? i'm no longer attempting to be rude i in basic terms get disillusioned at the same time as human beings say issues that are literally not authentic, and thats why i'm in touch on your elements.

I've heard that and don't get it. What is the problem with being mixed race. Where I am in Australia this is not an issue

depending on who were to get them, raising them produces quite a challenge. most times only one of their backgrounds are reinforced while the other is often put on the back burner. these kids eventually grow up curious about their heritage since adopted mommy and daddy never told them much about it. every parent wants to raise their children in a particular manner and this, in conjuction with also teaching them about their diverse backgrounds is often difficult sometimes.

I never knew that to be true. I would think adopting parents would love any child they are blessed with.
