I am going to go back to work parttime and will be looking for someone to watch my 6 1/2 month old. I really would like to have someone that watches kids from there home, Please help with some important questions to ask during the interviewing process, and how many kids would be too much for one person to handle, assuming the kids are all under 1 year of age.

We recently got rid of our dogs and now have noticed fleas all over, we did not notice them before.I have fogged and put spray everywhere but they will not leave my 3yr old daughter alone. She keeps getting bit even after putting her in just washed pj's and sheets. They mostly happen while she sleeps. I have put lotion and calamine lotion on her but it does not stop the itch or keep them from biting. I need some ideas as to what i should do to get rid of them and to keep them from biting her. She has about 70 bites and I know it can make her sick. Some Help Please!!!!! I had no idea what category this falls under but I know it has to do with making my daughter feel better.

There's me, my husband and 2, 22 month olds I'm cooking for. The boys like cheese, most meats, one likes vegies the other hates them, and we all like mexican and Italian foods.
I'm in a rut and I think if I serve the boys chicken nuggets one more time they'll kill me.
We only have about $70 a week for food so I need ideas that are easy to mix and match if you know what I'm saying.

My sister has a rule that all toys must be kept in the bedrooms and no matter what we do we cannot get my 3 year old niece to play in her room. She keeps saying she is scared of the cow in there. Ok there is no cow and when you tell her that then she changes her story and comes up with something else that she is scared of. She will go in her room by herself to get things or change clothes and doesn't have any problems taking naps or going to bed in her room. Why would she be afraid to play in there if nothing else about it seems to bother her. We've tried going in and playing with her and even that will only last for a few minutes. She has lots of toys that she loves to play with--just not in her room. Occasionally when the weather in nice she can select a few toys to take outside and play with and she gets to take some of her favorites when she goes to grandma's house so it's not that she doesn't like her toys she just won't play in her room. Any suggestions why?

Hi all, I have a beautiful white knitted baby rug that my mother hand knitted. She made my sisters and I the same and its been used and used and washed and washed,. 3 grown boys later its in perfect condition and I hate to see it folded up in my cupboard. Besides a throw rug has anyone got ideas on what I could do with it, I dont mind it being cut up to be used for something crafty aslong as it can be kept.

My friend's daughter is 16 and she doesn't have any younger siblings. She still calls her parents mommy and daddy. She even says it in front of her friends and company.

I quit calling my parents mommy and daddy when I was in Junior High School (around 13 years old). And I really don't want my children calling me mommy when they are in high school. Its embarassing for me.

What do you think?

Do you still call your parents mommy and daddy? If not, how old were you when you quit calling them that?

Do you want your children to call you mommy (or daddy) when they are in high school or adults?

So I asked earlier about being able to get pregnant by someone if they didn't get hard enough to have sex. My only thought is, it did touch down there and possibly go in about an inch, as we were trying to have sex. So I just wonder if there was ejaculation on the penis if it could have made me pregnant. Keep in mind that My boyfriend ejaculated inside of me. The guy I am talking about was a one time thing. So I thought it would be my boyfriends too, but i just wondered if there was a chance in the world.

Man, I feel so uncomfortable after interviews, I went in for one today, and afterwards I felt everyone who looked at me's eyes. I'm about to start an office job and I don't want it to be akward between my co-workers. The thing is, I'm a nervous wreck. Even seeing people out of the corner of my eye causes me to change how I feel and my mannerisms. I'm going to be right next to beautiful women all day who can feel the tenseness in my body, plus I have to type data entry. I ate a larabar after the interview and i've been so far tonight only drinking water and eating vegetables because it calms you down, but does anyone have any tips besides all of these procautions i'm taking? The thing is, not to even be concieted but i'm beautiful too so as I left today just every single person possible is staring at me and I feel like all of my actions were under a microscope or that the people looking got uncomfortable for themselves and didn't know what to do, what do you guys recomend?

An 11-year-old boy has been arrested in New Brunswick and charged with selling cocaine and heroin.

New Brunswick police Sgt. Richard Rowe said the boy and two teens were arrested Tuesday night carrying 234 bags of heroin and 111 bags of cocaine with an estimated street value of $3,450.

Officials said the 11-year-old was released to the care of his relatives and the teenagers were put in juvenile detention. None of their names were released because they were minors.

"We have seen an increase in juveniles that are involved with the selling of drugs, whether you attribute it to gangs or just juveniles not being supervised properly," Ralph Cretella, assistant prosecutor in Middlesex County's juvenile unit, told The Star-Ledger of Newark for Friday's newspapers

I love Elmo but why can't you find the T.M.X. Elmo in stores? And why are people paying huge bucks for them on Ebay? Is it so necessary to have one by Christmas? If I find one in the store great, I'll buy it but no way am I pay $100+ for one! I think the retail price of $40 is kind of a rip off.

My niece is 3 years old. She picks up anything and everything and it goes right in her mouth. Before anyone says anything negative she has something wrong with her and we have not gotten a diagnosis yet. I stand over her all the time yet she is so quick. Today she picked up a field mouse that one of the cats killed and put it in her mouth. I washed her up real good and used hand sanitizer. I also put some mouth wash on a q tip and cleaned her mouth real good. I believe I did everything right, but is there anything else I should do? Is there anyway to get her to understand that she shouldnt do this? I have tried everything that the doctors told me to do, but it dont seem to be helping any. Other then this she is the sweatest lil girl. Thanks for you help in advance.

Ok.. Now...before I go any further I want to make sure it's understood. I love my daughter NO MATTER what her decision is.

The question and search for advice I have is.. My daughter (14yo) has voiced that she might be more interested in girls than boys. As long as she has love in her life Yippee for her!!! However, I'm now leary to allow her to spend the night at her friends houses because I don't want her to get sexually active too soon. Am I being a bad parent?

I love her and want her to have a social life in highschool.. but what am I to do?

HELP!!

The American Pediatric Association recommends that children 2 years and under watch no TV at all. This means no Baby Einstein, PBS or anything else.

The average 1 year old watches 6 hours of television per week.

How do you feel about allowing your baby to watch TV? I see a lot of questions of people allowing their babies as young as 4 months old to watch TV.

What are you feelings about this?
