I had the same problem with our dogs, the fleas attacked me and no one else. I bought some Cortaid extra stregth it has to reapplied, then the next best thing call an exterminator because some of the store bought stuff isn't no where near as strong. Schedule for a day that you are going to be out of the house atleast 2 hrs vaccum the floor put your sheet in the wash or on dry cycle. Mop the floors after the spray has already dried just incase she drops something on the floor then vaccum again to make sure you have gotten any dead Larve that can reproduce, sit your vaccum outside for atleast 24hrs clean it out then you can bring it back in the house. You might have to get your house sprayed again after 3months, but just incase you see the fleas before then make sure who ever you call gurantee their work for 90days so if you see them before that mark they will come spray again at no charge. GOOD LUCK. I know fleas are a pain been there done that. I would look at getting your yard sprayed as well mow it day before the spray. Another thing to help heal the bites after a shower I would use a antibiotic cream if you can find one with aloe vera would be best.

Benadryl has a topical creme to apply to the skin. As for the flea problem, I would suggest fogging again - with RAID foggers, take the sheets off her bed before fogging. After you've fogged and can re-enter the room, vaccum the matress really well and get the vaccum bag or canister contents out of the house. Don't dispose of it in the garbage can. Hope this helps.

Try an oatmeal bath. I have found it to work wonders for all sorts of itchies.
As for the fleas themselves, you may have to call an exterminator. In the meantime, you can try using a repellent designed for mosquitoes, although I would be careful with a three year old child putting treated hands near her eyes or mouth. Or you could try one of those eucalyptus vaporizers in your daughter's room, as I hear(although cannot verify)that the vapors can kill fleas. Just make sure she isn't allergic to eucalyptus first.

I'm so glad you posted this because I'm going through the same thing with flea bites and it's DRIVING ME NUTS! Try this stuff called "Skeeter Stick"... it's for mosquitos but it takes the itch out of flea bites too.

Strange as it seems, WD-40 works to relieve the itching. Terminix can treat the house to get rid of the fleas.

Rubbing Alcohol helps but it does not relieve the itch or keep fleas off for extended periods of time, plus if she has scratched them raw alcohol will hurt.

Check your daughters matress for infestation... Fogs and sprays do not always penetrate the matress and you could have an infestation...
Also consider you may have bed bugs.. In recent years there has been a resergence of bed bugs across north america, europe, and australia..

Having bed bugs doesn't mean your house isn't clean or is some how unkept... Bed bugs have been found in 5 star hotels and mansions, all the way through to tenements....
In the meantime for the itch try caladryl lotion it's calamine with a topical benedryl for the itch...

To get rid of them, sprinkle Ajax over carpets and rugs and over her matress, let it sit for a couple of hours, then vacuum thouroughly. You may have to do this a couple of times.
