I was on an ADHD support bulletin board and several, 17 out of 20, of us mothers on the board that day discovered that our children with ADHD had the cord around their neck when born. I feel that it is too significant a number to be a coincidence. Could the oxygen deprivation from the cord be linked to ADHD diagnosis? What do you think?

but the boy come out with so many problems? He can build you an entire computer and fixed anything that has to do with them, but has no common sense. He is 23 a genious, very high I.Q. but doesn't know how to deal with normal every day things. He is the one that looks like me and acts like me. But the Doc tells me he is not really 23 yet. He is like 17 in his mind. Where did I go wrong?

Does it matter? - he's 10 now. I've heard that if he gets it as an adult instead, it can be a lot more serious.

We generally only let our kids miss school when they have a high fever or keep vomiting or have a highly contagious sickness. I think school is important and staying active will keep their minds off of it. I think it also allows them to fight it off faster as some medical studies have indicated. What are your rules for your kids being sick? Have you ever made them go to school when they did not feel well?

I have just never understood why when parents are going to talk about sex to their children they refer to it as the birds and bees. If anyone knows why please let me know.

Im scared to let my baby sleep in a crib because i think a spider or roach will crawl on her if im not next to her. So she sleeps on the bed next to me. Ive just moved into this new apt. Its only 4 years old and still clean. For some reason theres a few roaches n spiders. One night a roach crawled on my bf's neck. Ive seen a baby roach on the bed. Worried that a spider would bite her. or even worse crawl in her ears. Any of ever heard of any stories where that has happened? Or am i just worrying to much? Some help please..

How would you feel if after your daughters graduated from college, they suddenly decided not to have a career, and wed instead a not necessarily wealthy but responsible husband that will be a good provider, and focuson building a family and taking care of future kids, you won't feel that your daughters' education have gone to waste?

my support goes through the courts and for no moral or legal reasons she has denied me access to the child but they continue to take support off my cheques it is done throught the courts so i do not know if she still lives in canada or has moved back to england or what province she may reside in also they will not disclose this due to the privacy act so you can not even take her to court nice system i applaude any man that is denied accesss that can manage to deny money

I have a 25 month old who loves her binki. She really only uses it in her bed and in the car. Sometimes if she is having a really bad day she will walk around with it. I can see how much it soothes her just by looking at her face muscles relax. I am due to have a baby in a couple more weeks who will also probably have a binki. Should I take my 2 year olds now or wait until the baby comes? I was thinking that I can use the baby to stress that binkis are for babies and maybe she will want to give it up. What do you think?

I love to read and have read as long as I can remember. I like to read historical romance books. Yeah, I know they are sappy, but they are so interesting. At night, after the kids are in bed, I fill up the bathtub and soak while reading a book. Then I get in bed and read for another 30 minutes or so.

Can someone help me? I'm looking to write an introduction for nursery equipment that is used for children (not agriculture). Can anyone give me an introduction? Or at least give me points to use in the introduction that I could elaborate on? Things like why parents use nursery equipment today instead of using regular furniture. Etc.

Best answer (which would probably be the one with the summary) will get 10 POINTS!

Thanx and your help is greaty appreciated.
