Im scared to let my baby sleep in a crib because i think a spider or roach will crawl on her if im not next to her. So she sleeps on the bed next to me. Ive just moved into this new apt. Its only 4 years old and still clean. For some reason theres a few roaches n spiders. One night a roach crawled on my bf's neck. Ive seen a baby roach on the bed. Worried that a spider would bite her. or even worse crawl in her ears. Any of ever heard of any stories where that has happened? Or am i just worrying to much? Some help please..

allowing your baby to sleep on the bed next to you is very dangerous. What happens while you are sleeping and you roll over not knowing and suffocate your baby. You cann expect to be alert while YOU are sleeping , the chances of that baby suffocating is very high. Your safest option is to put your baby in its crib. The likeyhood of a spider crawling up into your babys crib is very low. If You need peace of mind, then during the day spray the legs of the crib with surface spray (only the legs). The those spides wont crawl up the legs of the crib and inside to where your baby is sleeping. Look at the news! How often do you hear of a baby being bitten by a spider and dying . Hardly ever. Dont even let it bother you.

I had lived in new apartments when my son was born. Unfortunalty it was built on roach infested land. So every day we had baby roaches crawling around everywhere. i didnt know what they were until my mom came and told me. You cant stop the bugs from crawling where they want. even if you sleep with her they will still crawl on you and her. I sprayed when the baby wasnt around religiously! Still didnt go away.Your apartment is supposed to pay for extermination. I had to go down multiple times to tell them that their regular bug spray isnt working. They had an exterminator come out two times and bomb our apartments. Didnt do a thing.

We ended up moveing out of those apartments to other apartments i couldnt stand it and it isnt healthy to have all those dirty bug around your baby. What if when she gets older she starts to eat one! Gross!! I would go online and find apartment reviews before you move again. That has saved me a lot of times from moveing into rat infested or roach infested apartments.!!

Also a suggestion. Have your apartments caulk your windows and doors. Also under your doors!! I know that under our front door there was a gap underneath and that is how a lot of bugs got in. my cat would sit there all day just catching bugs as they crawled in. Also get some wall putty and any holes you see put putty in it. Look in your cuboards too there are holes from when they put in the cuboards, try to putty those; or if they are too big put masking tape over it so thebugs cant get through. It keeps them at bay a little longer and not as much. Maybe have her sleep in a room where there are the least bugs.

You did not mention your age or your baby's age....but I bet this is your first child...there are so many things new mother's "worry" about....keep your apartment clean and be sure to not leave food or dirty dishes laying around. Wipe up any food or drink spills keep carpets and floors "crumb" free...and don't worry about this issue!!! I was afraid to let my child sleep in a crib for fear he would smother some how in his sleep...and I would not know it!!! These things are just some sort of hidden anxiety YOU have...it is really NOT about the baby's welfare...IF you know you are doing things right to be the best mother you can be....then relax....find out the root cause of your worry...and deal with THOSE issues....and get the baby into his own crib....it will be much healthier for you and baby!!!! Good luck...and be strong!!! You love your baby very much, and I know you will do all you can to have a healthy and happy baby...and that includes proper rest for BOTH you and baby!!!!

YES ALL OF THAT IS POSSIBLE BUT COME ON HOW LONG HAVE WOMEN BEEN HAVING BABIES A LONG TIME WAY BEFORE THERE WERE CRIBS FOR THEM TO LAY IN THE BABY WILL BE FINE!!!! I SUGGEST TAKING TO BABY AWAY FROM THE HOUSE AND GETTING RID OF THE SPIDERS AND ROACHES BOMBING EXTERMINATOR OR WHATEVER IT TAKES THEN YOU DON'T HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT IT AT ALL,LETTING THE BABY SLEEP WITH YOU IS A BAD IDEA AND A HARD CYCLE TO BREAK!!! BUT MAKE SURE THE APARTMENT IS SAFE FOR THE BABY TO COME BACK PROBLEM SOLVED /// DON'T SWEAT THE SMALL STUFF!!!!

You need to get your apartment exterminated every month if you dont want bugs especially living in an apartment. Dont feel bad about sleeping in the bed with your baby cause I still do that to and my son is a year. As a mother you can feel your baby move in your sleep so I dont understand why people say you can roll over your child anyways.

Make sure your apt. stays extra clean.

When you moved in you should of extermenated the Apt.
just in case something like this happened. Now what you need to
do is get your manager to extermenate the Apt.. If he/she says
you have to (thats bull ****) but go to Orchards and buy some
insect spray. Then only thing is that you need to do this in the
morning due to the poison. You baby should not be around.
Keep everything clean. Have your boy-friend spray the whole Apt.
from wall to wall, every milks and cranny. Good Luck!! Spiders
usually come in to keep worm and suck the blood out of you.
Roaches wants to eat your food.

No I have heard of a roach crawling into a baby's ear. Put cotton balls in her ear at night when she goes to sleep.

You need to see a psychiatrist. As far as the roaches and spiders, call an exterminater.

I have heard somewhere that during the course of you life you will eat approximately 7 spiders in your sleep.
Actually I think it's a normal fear, I had it.
