Well do you have a judgement that the court gave you? If so then just contact the District Attorney (family support division)in your area and then they will garnish his wages and if he gets a tax refund they will take that too. Unfortunately if he works under the table there isn't much they can do. But if he has any real property like land or a house they will put a lien on it and then pay you out of any of the money made from the sale of it. Hope that helps you.

I went through the courts to collect. They'll garnish his salary and keep track of how much he does and doesn't pay. I had to drag my kids' deadbeat dad to court like 14 times (I s**t you not!) with him almost going to jail the last 4 times. But lo and behold, he's finally paying. You can also petition for a cost of living increase every two years or so. If you can't afford an atty., go by yourself the first time. I never had an atty. come with me. Bring all the information they ask for and you should be okay. If it doesn't go the way you planned, you might need to get an atty. and go back. Hang tough and stick to your guns. Sooner or later, if you go through the courts, he'll have to pay. Back support is a legal lien against him. If he ever comes into any money down the road, you'll get yours before he sees a dime. Good luck!

Take him to court and have them garnish his wages. You can get the courts to send a letter of garnishment to the IRS also so you will get his tax returns until the back child support is caught up.

it would depend on whether or not you have money or not. if you do hire a lawyer if you don't then contact your local DSS agency, they have resources to help you take him to court for child support.

court order, period. if that fails, have it automatically taken from his wages. bottom line is its a parental responsibility, and if you've given him more than enough "nice" chances, time to take the gloves off for the sake of your kids. they deserve better. and i apologize, but i have no tolerance for ******** deadbeat dads. they are not fair to the kids, the mothers, the families...they're just egocentric in their lives and are willing to have their kids suffer or want in order for themselves to live more comfortably. nice role model, bud.
