Why should it really matter? After all they are in high school. The last year for them to be kids before they have to face life. They should enjoy it to the best of their ability because once it is over they have to become adults with all the rest of us.
I hope they have a fantastic and magical Senior year!

If I am understanding your question correctly, you are asking if it is "too good to be true" concerning your granddaughter's relationship. The thing is, I personally would not very excited about a high school relationship, as most people change dramatically in their mid-20s. As for being a cheerleader and football player, they are popular high school roles but do not mean much out in the real world. I am sure that their roles in high school makes life pretty cushy for them now. I only hope that both have the academics to go on and do something successful beyond high school.

No, it's nothing unusual. In high school kids tend to befriend others they think are like them and don't step outside that comfort zone. It's truly sad too. Highschoolers miss out on a lot of would be lifelong friendships.
The good thing is...after highschool...they are in the real world. No more cliques. They learn to broaden their horizons and make friends with those they never would have due to peer pressure.
High school sucks for most kids. But the kids who weren't "popular" are the ones who go back to highschool reunions and knock everyone's socks off!!!

SOUNDS LIKE THE AMERICAN DREAM. WHATS THE SIZE OF THE CITY, DEMOGRAPHICS , THAT DIRECTION IS WHAT MAKES MY EYES OPEN. IF ITS ALITTLE BURG THEN MAYBE THE OPTIONS ARE LIMITED FOR CHOOSING. IE THEY BOTH STAND OUT AND NO ONE ELSE STANDS AT THE TOP OF THE LADDER SO THEY'RE PRETTY MUCH FORCED, SOCIALLY TO SEE EACH OTHER. SHAME IF THATS THE CASE BECAUSE WHEN COLLEGE STARTS THE RULES AND POSSIBILITIES WILL BE LIMITLESS. ON THE OTHER HAND IT MAY BE ORDAINED AND THEIR MEANT TO BE TOGETHER. BORN AGAIN? HOPE SO. GOD BLESS

Your SN says 06, suggesting that the person it represents graduates this year. I think that person is you. lol.
I think it means nothing. once school is over the playing field changes. No one is who they were in highschool after the real world kicks in.
