I don't want my parents in my child life. Is there any way my parents can sue me so they can see my child.

If you ever watch Super Nanny or Nanny 911, it's always white people who have kids that are out of control.

In fact, it's usually white people in upper middle class neighborhoods.

It seems that for all their college educations, they lack in the common sense department.

Their kids curse at them, throw things, hit them, don't listen....all kinds of crazy things.

And all the parents seem to do is say, Please Billy, stop it. Would you please stop....

What is so difficult about having common sense?? It seems that any idiot can go get a college degree, but common sense doesn't seem to be all that common.

Why do so many white parents lack it?

PS - And I know people will say that blacks or hispanics have bad kids too, and that their kids commit more crimes etc.

Yes, a few blacks or hispanics also have very bad kids, but not as bad as white kids. A black or hispanic kid will never say "I hate you" and hit at it's mother. Nooooooo

Oh, and the crime thing has something to do with

I finally made a plan with my friends. We all decided to go out into Boston, (I live like twenty minutes away.) We decided we would take the train into town, sweet! I’m 15 and decided I would go with a group of friends of like 5. My mother told me yes, twice. When she asked me who was going, I told her two or three names, the only people she might know. She decided that I could not go because of the other people going. I see that as, she does not trust me to make good decisions; when going out, and when choosing friends. I understand she is trying to look out for my best interest, but I also need to learn some things for myself. I ended up in tears, right in front of her. She let my brother, who is three years younger than me go into Boston with one friend to a baseball game, without a parent, yet she will not let me go with a larger group and with three more years of experience. I need to learn how to make good decisions, and she just is not letting me experience life. Am I wrong?

I'm a first time mom .But anyways,I get so afraid when I think about him getting older. He's only 2 now,and I try to be the best mother I could be.But my mother was the same way with my brother who's now 24.She spent time with all of us,loved us and taught us right from wrong but now my brother's in and out of jail and doing drugs. Why do people turn out that way when they were not raised to be that way? And do you ever wonder about this?

as i said he is 8 yrs ,but now he dont listen to us,nor he is afraid of anything.when i slap him either he laughs sometimes and if he cry also then after 5 min he'll be back to normal and do what ever he likes to do.he dont take interest in studies as well, runs whenever ask to study,he's in class 3.i get so irritated at times that i shout at him ,but it hardly makes difference to him.i haven't read child psychology,so i dont know exactly how to handle him in more appropriate way.what should i do.i mean i should be soft or more hard towards him, earlier i never used to beat him.i have thyroid so i'm not supposed to shout also.

Insert your addition to add to my compilation of things I have assessed from the lay persons here of the world, on Y!A that have been deemed to be telltale of a bad mommy, and children that are scarred for life and all of this Universe's eternity:

*Letting baby sleep in it's crib
*spanking
*saying NO
*punishments that involve physical exertion/exercise or work
*not breastfeeding longer than 1 year
*failure to co-sleep until said child is 5
*failure to feed said child all organic produce
*discipline/home training
*disciplining a child in public
*not crying when said child begins kindergarden
*if you were indeed happy to see your child begin growing up
*ever needing a break from your kids

_______________________ My mind goes blank. I think I may have listed them all, but I am certain I missed some. Please help me so I can properly annotate these deficiencies and create a checklist. Maybe I'll publish it to help mommies everywhere be better mommies. Including me.

My sister in law has just gotten divorced from my brother. During the course of the marriage, she chose to be a stay at home mom against his wishes, it was also something he could not afford. Now that she is divorced she calls him up expecting him to give her money ( more then child support) but no alimony has been granted to her. She asked me what my advice is to her, and I told her to " get a job", but she says she can't and she won't, she just expects my brother to support her so she can still play the housewife! Now she calls me everyday begging for money I am not going to give her. The only thing that I can tell her is why didn't she think of this in the first place? I swear it is like dealing with a child, this woman has never earned a dime, she has no idea what it really means to work! She has always had men paying for everything. I told her that if you want to be a good mother you need to get a job to support your kids since this is the 21st century.

I watch two twin boys and have a 2 1/2 year old myself. One of the twins always bites his brother and my daughter. I have tried time out and explaining why not to bit, I've tried putting him in his crib (he hates that) and explaining, I tried flicking his mouth not hard to get him to stop, I've tried telling him no, I have tried getting the other kids to bite back that doesn't help. Recently he has been pulling my daughters hair to were he gets clumps of hair in his hand. I have done everything I could think of to get him to stop, any suggestion on how to make him stop. Oh I have also tried some hot sauce but he likes it. I have no other clues. Please anything would help. Thanks.

My son is spending the weekend with me, and it's way past his bedtime. He's so hyper that I can put him in bed but he only stays there a for a few minutes and then gets up and says he's not tired. I realize that he may not be tired, but he needs to go to bed. I'm getting quite exasperated, what do you suggest. I've tried bedtime stories, a warm bath, milk, laying in there with him, and it's not working. He's also 6 if that means anything.

...no, im not a werdo, im asking this in a mature way. Im taking a marriage and family course, and i just wanna know peoples/parents opinons.

personally, i think its alittle weird to engage in intercourse knowing that your children are in the next room, sleeping, or NOT sleeping (especially if their young)...then again, my folks were divorced so, i never had to really deal with it. I mean, what if you get caught?!

thoughts/opinons would be nice.

I really want to kick my brother in the balls. My girlfriends tell me it is fun, but one of them said I can get in trouble at home, and that it is better to just do it to boys in school. Now I don’t know what to do.

I need this to stop without telling the police or adults. I am 12, I'm a boy, my school and many around it has a lot of ballbusting girls. I am in one(I've seen about different 23 girls kicked atleast one guy last month and I've heard more all in this school)(there is 400 people in this school). It will make a guy in pain for 40 seconds if they gently tap it and the after pain last for about 10-15 minutes inside my male anatomy, and girls in my school are KICKING THEM just for the fun, some kick as hard as they can or knee/squeeze for giggles or laughs. THESE GIRLS DO IT FOR ABSOLUTELY NO REASON and girls admit it too. They do it for the fun of it. Boys won't tell the teachers for the embarrassment or being threatened, but a few do. A few boys can't have babbies ever again in my school and around it. I know boys can carry more weight, we even took care of them even before this even started and still. They all giggle about it! I don't want to tell teachers or police. It hurts me inside!
