i got high grades but my parents want higher if only i could tell themm that its them to go to school and they will be the one to get high grades not me......... what do you think will i do?

I know how u feel. I have been through the same situation. In ur case its just parents. My entire family was on my case all the time.
Look at it on the long run. When u are indepenednt, u will find that u r even more competent than u realise. However, dont let them get to u too much or u will lose ur confidence. I hope paernts realise that sometimes this sort of pressure can lead to suicides. Make ur parents aware of these cases. May be that will soften them up.
And parents only want the best for u. Well, most of them anyway! So u cant hate them for that. U just feel that coz u r angry. But learn to deal with it coz life is a lot tougher out there.

Yeah it's annoying when parents overwhelm you. But to look on the bright side, they seem to care. They actually want you to do well in school (cuz doing well in school gets u into a good post secondary and that gets you a good job and a good job gets you good money and success and more freedom). They are pushing you harder so that you can reach your full potential. If they didn't care about you, they definately wouldn't be concerned about your grades. It might be hard to talk to them, but let them know that they are stressing you out with how they're pushing you so hard. They probably don't know, they're just trying to be good parents and make you turn out well.

Just relax. Your not at school for them, your there to benefit yourself. As long as your putting in the effort and your happy with your own acheivements what does it matter. Besides grades are pointless since you can't compare the talents of one person to another. I wasn't a huge acheiver at school and my parents wanted me to do better, but at the end of the day it didn't bother me. I now have my own busines and am quite successful at what I do. School is not the be all end all!

i know u don't understand know but your parents just what is best for your. My parents always told me get good grades and go to college. oh boy dont i wish i had listened to them know. I am not in coll edge and the best job o can get is like $10 an hour...trust me when u are raising a family that is nothing. So please believe me when i say u need to listen to them because they are talking from experience. Just imagine having your own child. don't you want the best for him/her. well trust me they wont have the best unless you have a college education and u wont get that with mediocer grades.

Hate is such a strong an awful word,especially for something so trivial as school grades. If you transfer that energy your using to hate your parents into studing just a bit harder your problem would be solved.

I have parents like that too. I used to hate them like crazy. But i realized thier not good parents but they are not bad people. They are trying the best way they know how. I guess you were unlucky like me, but you got to realize that you just gotta stick it out and make the best of the situation. My advice to keep the peace at home is to let go of small things and talk/ make them understand you not matter how it is. God choose you like he choose me to be where we are for a reason.

Man, you're lucky. My mom doesn't care about my grades. I get good grades, but not amazing grades that blow you away. My lowest grade ever was a C+. To me, that's horrible. I wish she cared, I wish she pushed me harder. The only person I have to please with my grades is myself. I show her my grades, she says she's proud, and I know she cares, but she doesn't care if I get a good or bad grade. Just enjoy the fact that you're getting good grades and have someone who actually cares enough about your grades to push you to acheive instead of just claiming they're proud.

Oh, you hate your parents? If you're a whining baby now wait until both of them are dead. I would give anything to have my deceased parents back so they could b*tch at me about my grades. Stop being a baby, they are worse things.
