Hi i have just asked a question about my 4 year old i need to ask another one. My 18 month old son is a mummy's boy whenever i leave the room to do something he starts crying i have left him before but he still cries. He follows me about like a lost lamb. He is also a lazy talker how many words is a 18 month meant to say. he understands everything he is very smart, but lazy when it comes to talking. I just need to know how can i get him to talk a bit more, and how do i stop this mummy boy thing.

Hi. To paint you a picture I am 21 (Female) and have been living with my boyfriend, who is also 21, (Who I ador) in York for the past year. He owns and operates several businesses with his father. We have quite a big family and lots of friends. We have plently of money and live very comfortably.

Recently he he become really withdrawn from everyhing really. He seems to be under so much stress. He is not really eating properly and have lost quite a lot of weight. I wouldnt say he neglects me but we have drifted apart. I understand that he has a lot of work to do but he seems to be living meetings and client interviews. I am really worried he is going to do himself some serious damage. I have spoken to him about this time and time again but he justs gets annoyed. He is really ambitious and not much satisfies him so he is constantly working, even at home. I am really worried

She came home early from work and caught him surfing through gay/male websites and gay mens porn. What would you do if you were in her shoes? At 12 he looks like a normal, typical, cute little boy. But he doesn't play with basketballs, or trucks and things little boys like. He likes to hang up under my aunt (which is his grandma) and everywhere she goes, he follows her. (he likes going to the mall and shopping with grandma!) He is a solid, bigboned boy, but when he talks, his voice is real light sounding and it surprises you becuase you would look at him and expect a deeper voice from such a big boy! Any suggestions?

I am third year member of a group for SAHMs. I returned to work part-time last year, but I am still active in my local chapter. We have always had members who want to show up to events (sometimes), but they never want to plan or coordinate anything. Well, the elected officers (I'm secretary) always end up doing most of the grunt work. None of us get paid or expect to get paid, but the officers always end up bitter and burnt out before their one year term is up.

It's so bad that we have trouble finding people who want to run for office the next year, b/c they think all of the work will fall on them somehow. There's about 25 of us, but only 6-8 members who are really active in keeping the chapter afloat each year. How do we turn things around for 2007?

Does anyone else hate when they see little kids drinking caffeinated pop? Don't parents know that ceffeinated drinks can eat away at your bones and actually create holes in your intestines? I mean Coke can clean rust off of metal--what makes parents think it's okay to give there kids that stuff? What do you think? Should people have to be a certain age before they should be allowed to have caffeinated drinks? Kinda like alcoholic beverages?

When my husband and I want to go somewhere or do a family thing my 11 year old daughter doesn't want to go with us (she used to all the time) and she's staying in her room more. I think she's starting to be more independent but my husband is a little worried. Is this normal?

Seriously. I see parents advocating no timeouts, no spankings and no firm talks, and touting "reasoning" with young children. So...exactly how do you do this with a person that a minimal attention span, and no concept of consequence. How can you teach them about the consequences of bad behavior by "reasoning" with them? Whe are they supposed to learn this by your theories? Or, is is A-OK for your child to bite you, strangers, and other family members to his heart's content with no reprocussions? Just curious.

I believe that children should be taught, Everything. The more they know, the more they can make intelligent, informed decisions for themselves. They are individuals and independent thinking is an asset in the world we live in. I have four grown children who were brought up to think, to be openminded, and make informed decisions for themselves. They all have made their lives as They wish. What a blessing they are!!

Peace and Love

Yesterday my six year old niece asked me where babies come from and I told her that they come from God and that he sends them to us from heaven. She still didn't understand the concept of how a baby is first a baby then turns into an adult... what should I or her parents tell her?

Has anyone seen that commercial for the new toothpaste for children where it shows where the plaque is (by turing it blue) on your childs teeth so that they brush them better to make the blueness go away?? Do you think that is a good idea for kids??
