Gerber Foods has a large variety to choose from for infants at your son's stage. And most are healthy and nutritous
Stay away from grapes, nuts, raw vegetables, Hot Dogs, Vienna Sausages, Popcorn, Hard Candies, Hard cereals like cherios, fruit loops etc., any thing that can cause a chocking hazard.
With only one tooth, your child has to use his gums to chew his food. So... if you feel you can eat the foods without chewing with your teeth and just mash them with you tongue... then it is safe for your child.
Don't give your child potato chips or tortilla type chips until he has most all of his teeth. Instead, try cheese puffs or cheese curls (Cheetos Puffs & Cheetos Curls). Start out with the puffs first then stage in the curls.
Never allow your child to walk or crawl around with food in his hands or mouth, and ALWAYS be with him when he is eating. A baby can choke on his food very quickly.
I would suggest taking a First Aid, Choking and CPR Class for Infants and Small Children.
All children choke on something at one or more points in time. With babies and toddlers, choking is more common, because they are just learning how to eat table foods.
I usually suggest the classes during pregnancy, or during the first few months after the baby is born. But it is never too late to take these classes, unless your child dies from choking!

He's just about ready for most food. But give him the softer kind. He's got just one tooth but eventually he will grow more soon so he better be ready when more teeth comes.
You should introduce variety of food, too, like soft noodles and diced fruits like melons. He ought to learn how to mimic chewing, even though he's got just one tooth.
Have fun, mommy. Babies are the best!

Expert Q&A
Q. Can I give my 11 month scrambled eggs? Julie, Fleetwood, PA
A. Because of the risk of food allergies from eating egg whites, most experts recommend not giving whole eggs to children under twelve months of age. However, it is usually considered to be okay to just give them just egg yolks, once they are 7-10 months old.
You don't have to be in a big rush to give egg yolks though. According to the AAP, 'though in the past egg yolks were recommended as a good source of iron, the iron they contain is not easily absorbed. Iron-fortified cereals and meat are the best sources of iron for your infant.'
On the other hand, in addition to iron, egg yolks can be a good source of DHA, an important component of breast milk which is now being added to many infant formulas and baby food to try and promote a baby's growth and brain development.
So yes, you can feed your 11 month old scrambled eggs, as long as you only use egg yolks (and some formula, cheese, and butter of course).
Because of the risk of food poisoning from Salmonella, be sure to cook the egg yolks thoroughly though.
Rice or and or mashed potatoes.

He just can't have eggs, fish, and orange juice. Eggs and fish can cause allergic reactions in children under 1 and orange juice is too acidic. You may have to grind his food up for him if you decide to give him table food. As far as Cherrios, let them get very soggy so he won't choke. You're welcome
