When I picked her up she said I hurt her; I asked where and she said her lower back. I put her back down and when my husband came in she still said her lower back hurts. She hasn't had much of an appetite either and no fever. Any clues?

My husband and I were talking about what chores we were going ot give our children in the future. We have a 2 3/4 year old now so of course he does not have them now so this will be an on going conversation. So here is my question. I was thinking that that a few chores for him besides the normal keep your room clean and taking out the garbage would be like make sure that all of the toilet paper holders have rolls on them etc. Do you have any different chores that I could suggest and talk to my husband about. I mean different than the normal ones. I was just wondering. If I can atleast get my son to always replace the Toilet paper roll and put the seat down I know that my future daughter in law will love me.

RAISING BOYS:
a. For those with no children - this is totally hysterical! b. For those who already have children past this age, this is hilarious. c. For those who have children this age, this is not funny. d. For those who have children nearing this age, this is a warning. e. For those who have not yet had children, this is birth control.
the Facts:
1. A king size waterbed holds enough water to fill a 2000 sq. ft. house
4 inches deep.
2. If you spray hair spray on dust bunnies and run over them with roller blades, they can ignite.
3. A 3-year old Boy's voice is louder than 200 adults in a crowded restaurant.
4. If you hook a dog leash over a ceiling fan, the motor is not strong enough to rotate a 42 pound boy wearing Batman underwear and a Superman cape. It is strong enough, however, if tied to a paint can, to spread paint on all four walls of a 20 x 20 ft. room.
5. You should not throw baseballs up when the ceiling fan is on. When using a ceiling fan as a bat, you have to throw the ball up a few times before you get a hit. A ceiling fan can hit a baseball a long way.
6. The glass in windows (even double-pane) doesn't stop a baseball hit by a ceiling fan.
7. When you hear the toilet flush and the words "uh oh", it's already too late.
8. Brake fluid mixed with Clorox makes smoke, and lots of it.
9. A six-year old Boy can start a fire with a flint rock even though a
36-year old Man says they can only do it in the movies.
10. Certain Lego's will pass through the digestive tract of a
4 year old boy.
11. Play dough and microwave should not be used in the same sentence.
12. Super glue is forever.
13. No matter how much Jell-O you put in a swimming pool you still can't walk on water.
14. Pool filters do not like Jell-O.
15. VCR's do not eject "PB & J" sandwiches even though TV commercials show they do.
16. Garbage bags do not make good parachutes.
17. Marbles in gas tanks make lots of noise when driving.
18. You probably DO NOT want to know what that odor is.
19. Always look in the oven before you turn it on; plastic toys do not like ovens.
20. The fire department in Austin, TX has a 5-minute response time.
21. The spin cycle on the washing machine does not make earthworms dizzy.
22. It will, however, make cats dizzy.
23. Cats throw up twice their body weight when dizzy.

im a cool mom. i let my 12 year old listen to whatever music he likes( rap mostly) and watch rated r movies. no big deal! to be honest i swear alot. sometimes when he is singing a song or repeating a movie line he will use altrenative words that sound almost like or close to the word hes trying not to really say. he doent want to actully swear in front of me thinking he will get in trouble. and hes probably right! the problem is it almost gets on my nerves when i hear him say the word in a song the way he does... like that song by buckcherry " your crazy bit..ch" he will say " your crazy beezie" and it bugs me... i guess i wouldnt mind him actully saying the correct word just for the song.... is that not ok as a parent top not mind it for those purposes?

After using three atty's and having everything I ever worked for taken from me in a bitter divorce, I am wondering just where to turn next. I maybe called gullable for believing what these three atty's told me, as they quickly depleted my bank account of nearly 175,000 dollars, but more importantly, I have lost my two daughters to a very evil and money hungry woman. This, after 25 years of marriage in which she never worked or was asked to do so. Now, she has control of my kids and I haven't been able to see in over a year. They are 14 and 12 and god, did we have some very good times. That is, until the ex remarried. Now, a phone call is out of the question. She has gone so far as to have the kids tell me that they don't want to speak to me again. I know this is not true. She is controling and does not want them to know the truth. She is a alcoholic which led to the divorce. This is my worst nightmare. I would rather spent time back in Nam. Won;t someone help? I have no money. Its gone
