If it is, it definitely shouldn't be, because that's money you're getting for taking care of the foster kids.

Yes, income is income. The good news is that the courts have to take into consideration how many kids you are caring for on that income. Most of the time the absent parent's income is the only determination factor in how much support goes to the child.

When you are a foster parent, the money you recieve for the foster child is for their expenses, help with food, rent / house payments, clothing, power, school supplies and any other things the child needs and uses during that month.

They ask you to provide ALL SOURCES OF INCOME when you ask for child support. Sorry!
