I'm 29 weeks with #4 and will be watched closely from here on out due to risk of preterm. My first three pregnancies were great except my third was 5 weeks early. Now this time I've been having minor problems that put me at risk, especially since I delivered the last one at 35 weeks. My hubby (28) and I (24) have been married for 4 years. We have a 6 1/2 year old son and almost 5 and 4 year old daughters and are expecting a baby boy in June.

He refuses 1000% to get him self snipped. Which I think is unfair seeing I have carried these children and given birth to them. My view is that if he won't do it, I don't want to be on BC for the next umpteen years.

So I've decided that I will get my tubes tied. The more I read about it the more nervous I get. I thought you could have it right after delivery and the recovery time was short. I thought it was a simple painless procedure. Can anyone tell me their experiences or thoughts. I'm still unsure what to do. Any advice would be great!

I think I'm pregnante even thought the test said I'm not (I think I'm very early--I feel very different and I'm pretty sure I am) when is the best time to tell my boss (after confirming of course)?

I know several couples that instead of having kids and all the good and bad that come with them, instead get dogs or cats and treat them like kids. I think that some of them aren't willing to make the financial sacrafice, or give up or change careers to accomodate a new baby. What will happen? Will people just buy kids from other countries that have more than they need, like some celeberties do? Should you be worried that fluffy might become your cousin? Do you care?

I have impregnated my g/f. She is about 4 months pregnant. She will not allow me to go to Doctors appointments. She lies to me about when they are. She is currently unemployed, living with an acolholic with multiple history of domestic violence. Just tonight he twised (her son from another relationship) his grandsons arm while drunk. I was gonna call the cops but everyone told me they would deny anything happened, so I was afraid to call and look bad in the laws eyes. I just want to protect her son and our future child. I have a job, my own place, my own insurance. She is bi-polar and has not been on her meds for over 2 years. I want both I and the mother to be apart of this childs life but she is already pushing me out by lying and dening when appointments are. What can I do to ensure that I can have my child? I do not want to be a part time father. I dont want to exclude her from the childs life, but since I feel she is already excluding me from our future child I want to make certain I am a part of it. Im looking for advice on what I can do now to be a part of my childs life (not part time), but also ensure that the mother and I have (at least)equal parts of loving this new child.

Okay...The other day I bought a pregnancy test and was going to take it but barely any urine got on it so it was almost dry when it should have been held under for 10 seconds. In the last couple days I have felt pregnant and had symptoms so I just re-used that test because it had barely been used (i know i know..but i just needed a test asap)...it came out posative...the screan before was just completely covered in dye but the dye cleared and it was posative...BUT...it seems that my period came today...what do u think?,..pregnant or not? I seem to have symptoms such as nausea, fatique, faintness, abdominal cramps (which i do not ever have during my period) Do you think the test was at all accurate? Am i pregnant?

By the way my period seems pretty normal so i dont feel like it is implantation bleeding.

I have a daughter who is twelve. She's fairly mature for her age, and is responsible. My husband and I frequently drop her off at the local mall or the movies with a few of her friends (we know them and their parents very well) and let them hang out for a few hours.
Well, she told me that she likes a boy from her class, and her best friend likes his best friend. She asked if she could meet up with these two boys and her friend and have ice cream at the promenade ... which is maybe a five minute drive from our home. These boys are her age, and I'm glad that she was honest about wanting to meet up with them, but I feel like she might still be too young. Maybe I just don't want to accept that she's growing up! My husband says that we should reward her with a little more freedom because she was responsible enough to tell us what she was going to be doing, and he doesn't want her to lie and meet them behind our backs.

Any other moms been in this situation? I need advice!

Im thinking if it was me, Id like the gesture, but not sure Id want to look at them, then have to throw them out. I spose it would be the same for a funeral.
I cant decide if I should get some for a friend to show support (in addition to being there of course), then just go with something white? FTD shows some bright colorful bouquets in the sympathy section, which confuses me. Another friend said maybe a plant, but cant decide if that is more of a reminder vs a remembrance. Any thoughts?

I am 6 months and am currently awaiting to be approved or denied for my medicaid, I havent seen a dr yet because I have not had any coverage thus far. Before while applying for medicaid I was asked if my bf was the father of the child, and I told them no, because before when I told them yes they took his income as my income and he made too much and I was denied. I know, I lied, but I had no other way fo getting medical coverage.... He makes enough to live on, but not enough to pay for it out of pocket.
But the thing is... it is his child, and we want the child to have his last name, and his name on the birth certificate...
If I go in and tell them that it could be his child and that we are together now are they going to deny me because he makes too much?
I have no other way of paying for medical... and I thought it was the law that if you are pregnant they cant deny you. Is that true?

crack baby, or neglectful parents, young (very young) parents that cannot care for the child the way they should. I hate to sound so harsh, but these are not good conditions for a baby to be in. For some reason though, people that are trying to be parents, are responsible, take care of themselves, would absoultely put their child above all else are the ones I notice (or at least lately around me) have miscarriages most often. It seems so unfair, and I'm so sick of seeing it happen. Not that I want these other people to have miscarriages or anything, I just don't want them getting pregnant at all. Does anyone else find this to be disheartening and frustrating? Thanks.

Ok I'm 30 years old with 2 sets of twins a boy and girl who are 10, and a girl and boy who are 2 months. Now 2night my husband asked me can we have another baby. And you know you I'm like I have enough kids in fact I've gave you 2 sets of twins and plus I just had 2 babies 2 months ago. So he says he miss me being pregnant i'm like i don't and what if I have another set of twins or more men just don't get it. So what can I tell him to change his mind about wanting another baby? I mean I explained my reason to him but I want to know if there any more, more convincing then mines.

Here in South Carolina, legislation has been proposed that will require a woman to view an ultrasound image of her fetus prior to having the abortion. How about that?
